January 2 2012
December 17 was a normal day for me just at my house being a regular teenager, looking a PCMdaily.com a reading a bunch of "real" stories about PCM 2011 but I got bored fast.So December 17th wasn't a fun day untill 3:26PM. I got a call from Liquigas-Cannondale's team office. They said they needed a new team manager so me being a hugwe cycling guy said heck to the yea. They asked me many questions. And they said they would call me back. They asked me question from "what's your favorite color" to "What is the pythagorean theorem" At 6:52 Pm they called me back a offered me a 980,000 dollar contract. And since I am not dumb I accepted. So Aperently I am the new manager for Liquigas-Cannondale.
Team preview:
Team Leaders
GC Leaders
By the way, I will not show the stats for any riders.
Ivan Basso
He may be on the downside of his career, but he is still a good climber and has a lot of stamina. The Supergiro di Italia the Tour de France and Tirreno-Adriatico are 3 of the races he will be in.
Vincenzo Nibali
Nibali is an amazing downhiller and he is great in the hills as well as the mountains. He will ride in the Supergiro di Italia and the Tour de France
Main Sprinter
Peter Sagan
Sagan is at least a top 10 sprinter. He is pretty good on the cobblestones. He also great in the hills. He may be in all three Grand Tours if he doesn't go to the tour of California.

Tour Down Under
Stage one:
Preview:
This is a very flat stage a must be a sprint.
The Stage
Muravyev took the maximum points for the king of the mountains to become the race's first KOTM. But the escape group was easily caught. With a very weak group of sprinters and our riders having a much better form than the others we took a double with Sagan and Sabatini.
Stage 2
Preview
A fairly hilly stage. An escape group may go the distance.
The Stage
Attacks happpend very often early in the stage. But no riders were able to make an escape group. We had no help at all as more and more riders attacked. with 5 killometers left, Paolini of Katusha attacked and went clear of the pack. Our team was too tired to chase and he easily took the stage. The pack finished 23 seconds later with Sagan taking second.
top five of the stage:
1 Luca Paolini Katusha Team 3h36'06
2 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale + 23
3 José Iván Gutierrez Movistar Team s.t.
4 Vasil Kiryienka Movistar Team s.t.
5 Geraint Thomas Sky Pro Cycling s.t.
top five in the GC:
1 Luca Paolini Katusha Team
2 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale + 17
3 Fabio Sabatini Liquigas-Cannondale + 27
4 Daniele Righi Lampre-ISD + 28
5 Daniel Oss Liquigas-Cannondale + 29
Stage 3
Preview
a very likely mass sprint.
The Stage
The stage started with three riders attacking and staying in front for most of the stage. One of them was Longo Borghini. But team Sky reeled them in with 25 killometers left. And once again we started making a big sprint train for Sagan. The sprint was harder, but Peter won it easily
Stage 4
Preview
I think an escape group will go all the way. A lot of points are up for grabs today.
The Stage
The stage started with 4 riders breaking away. Longo Borghini was one of them. Borghini won all of the points, sprints or climbers. Eventually they were reeled in. later Sagan won again with Oss behind him.
Top 5 of the stage
1 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale 3h22'35
2 Daniel Oss Liquigas-Cannondale s.t.
3 Borut Bozic Astana Pro Team s.t.
4 Ben Swift Sky Pro Cycling s.t.
5 Kris Boeckmans Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team s.t.
Top 5 in the GC
1 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale
2 Luca Paolini Katusha Team
3 Daniel Oss Liquigas-Cannondale
4 Paolo Longo Borghini Liquigas-Cannondale
5 Fabio Sabatini Liquigas-Cannondale
We are doing amazing in this tour.
Stage 5
Preview
This stage is very, very flat untill the last 25 killometers with 2 big climbs. probably an attack driven stage. We will try to get Sagan in to a good position. Eros Capecchi could take this one for us.
The Stage
The beginning of the stage was very quiet. but with 97 killometers to go, a group of 6 created an escape group. I didnt see that 4 of the 6 were only 36 seconds behind so, I pushed Sabatini and PLB(Paolo Longo Borghini) to the front. With 15 killometers left the peleton split into 2. 10 killometers later. the Escape group was caught. Attacks were coming from everywhere. Capecchi lead Sagan to the front. Then, Blel Kadri launches an enormuss attack with 2 killometers. He ended up winnng the stage. He had made at least a 20 second gap but there was no gap awarded.
Top 5 of the stage
1 Blel Kadri Ag2r La Mondiale 3h34'39
2 Eros Capecchi Liquigas-Cannondale s.t.
3 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale s.t.
4 Tony Gallopin Radioshack Nissan Trek s.t.
5 Mikhail Ignatiev Katusha Team s.t.
Top 5 in the GC
1 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale
2 Luca Paolini Katusha Team
3 Blel Kadri Ag2r La Mondiale
4 Eros Capecchi Liquigas-Cannondale
5 José Iván Gutierrez Movistar Team
Stage 6
Preview
Today, we will try to win another stage with Peter Sagan. This one will be full of attacks.
The Stage
Longo Borghini was in the BOTD again to get some climber points, but there were only 4 attacks on this circuit. Longo Borghini took second for the climber points and he now has clinched it. The 3 man break was controlled by the peleton. With 20 killometers left the group was reeled in and we made our train(which was once again flawless.) However Adam Blyth used our train and took the win over Sagan.
Top 5 of the stage
1 Adam Blythe BMC Racing Team 2h05'34
2 Peter Sagan Liquigas-Cannondale s.t.
3 Francesco Chicchi Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team s.t.
4 Kenny Van Hummel Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team s.t.
5 Fabio Sabatini Liquigas-Cannondale s.t.
No Changes to the GC.
So we start our season off with a bang!!!!
