This is my first season as manager of Colombia es Pasion
It is a fully colombian team competing in the continental division of world cycling!
The new image of colombian cycling! with it combining elite cylists and up and coming under 23 cyclists
Here is my squad for the coming season!
Two huge signings pre season have somewhat lifted spirits in the team and of fans!
Firstly Mauricio soler one of the brightest up and coming colombian climbers there is today has made a shocking signing from Team Barloworld!
"I had a strong sense this team is going places and i wanted to be apart of that and being part of a growing colombian team is very exciting" said soler at his press conference!
the other addition is a swap deal with UNE - ORBITEL
we recieved the awsome prospect of Julian Rodas! he is a talented bike rider and can fly in the time trials which was a big weekness of ours!
and going the other way is A.Rojas Diaz who has served our team well in the past! we wish him all the best for the future!
Here are the team goals for the season!
My personal goals besides the ones set aside by our sponsors is to win the TOur of Malaysia and get a wildcard in either the Giro or le Tour and make an impact in those events!B)
things will be very tight on the budget side of things! After spending on transfers and swap deals we have no money for extra riders!
Hopefully the season ahead will bare much fruit!
Ps:hope u guys enjoy as this is my first story! |

Wow. With Soler on your team you should definitely win numerous races. He is not exactly CT-material if you ask me.

Hmm. He is currently at level 3. Given time I'm sure he'll reach 80.

i did do that for other career, but thought ppl would moan! this is the exact from pcm spain!
so what does everyone think! should i increase!
was thinking 79 or 80 for mountain
76 for hill at least
stamina up to 74 or so
resistance 75 or so
acceleration 78, he has quite a kick on him
what u guys think, i want it to be more reliastic but it would b too easy i think!
i got a 6th in Giro with soler b4 with a lil bit of an increase in stats!
lemme know, i will be starting soon! |

As simple as that:
DON'T increase anything. He is good as he is. Bearing in mind that has yet to complete 2 levels, he will be superstrong at the end of the season.

as Pana saya don't increase anything
as i've been told many times, it isn't just the MO stat that counts to how good he will be in the mountains stages

Here is the profile for the first stage of the Tour de san Luis
this is one of our sponsors Goals for the season which is to finish in the top3 overall!
]
one of the Favorites for today was Magnus Backstedt
but our new signing Julian Rodas had something to say about that!
here are my team results for the stage! our leader had a very bad day at the office, but then again the TT is his weakness! look out for him in the next few stages!

the Soler thing reminds me of all the A.Schleck fans...they demand his stats be higher....then by the time they reach the Giro in their careers, he's improved so he has 84 for mountain and they say "oops"...........*sigh*

let's see. there's quite a few examples of guys who were that impressive in their first grand tour and turned out to be good. there's just as many examples of guys who were that good their first 3 week race and then turned out to be average riders or even bad ones. let's see. his next 3 week race will be when we see how good he actually is
given that, I'd say 77 or 78 would be very fair

Im just thinking loudly here, but i, amongst others (i think that includes a TV commentator too), remember calling Popovych the next big thing when he won the youth competition in TdF a couple of years ago. And well, i havent seen him win le Tour yet...

No screenshots for this stage! problems with these!
Was a uneventful day! with a breakaway getting to 7 minutes clear but with 80km to go the pack squeezed and caught them with ease!
Our man Juan Pablo Forero was in ok form today! so we were very happy with his podim place!

Julian Rodas is hoping to hang on to the Leaders Jersey!
Here is Garrido on his way to a great Ride
Mauricio Soler had the Time Trial of his life today! to drag himself to contention for the overall!
Here are the final Results!
Unfortunately Julian Rodas lost his lead in the GC after not having the legs today!
but we are stil on course for a top3 in the overall which was our sponsors Goal!
Looking forward to tomorrow hilly stage which could stil change things!
