I was wondering how simulation works. I started a new career and I notice that DEGENKOLB and KITTEL are leading the Pro Continental classification. The thing is they win every single sprint stage where im not taking part of, but as soon as they are in a race or Tour where I am participating and playing in 3D they arent even able to get a 3 place. Every single sprinter with 74 or 75 is able to beat them and they have 79 and 78. At first I thoght I could be the form but Im in March and it cant be coincidence that they have a bad form in every single race Im paricipating.

The fast simulation does not consider the stage profile. So basically the game simulates every flat stage as if it would be 30km and totally flat. First the game decides if the escape group will make it till the end and if not, the sprint will be simulated.
Therefore riders with high sprinting stats will win most of the time in fast simulation.

But in detailed simulation or 3D, all riders have to ride the full stage and if there are some small bumps or if the peloton rides very fast at the end, this could kill certain riders before they can even start to sprint.

If you play with a continental team with good sprinters, then it would be better to use my season planner to assign all your riders and then simulate the whole season.
