I'm currently doing the San Luis with my sprinter Tiziano Dall'Antonia (66 FL, 72 SP). His form is fairly good for the time of the year (69 I think) and the best sprinter in the race is a 75. Tizzo is the 7-8th best sprinter (SP) in the race.
However, like the football striker who is a fantastic finisher but is slow as hell, I have only got 1 13th and 1 14th place finish.
How do you sprint with a low FL but high SP guy? |

When the best sprinter is 75 it is still quite high. It's like a 82 where the best sprinter is 85. |

A bad flat-stat, (relatively) bad sprint stat and bad form does not equal a good sprinter.

Yes, it is not high, but it's not exactly Cav I'm sprinting against. The green jersey is held by Pietropolli (FL 70, SP 73) |

You asked how to sprint with a "low FL / high SP" rider. I told you that you rider does not fall in that category because your 'sprinter' would be "very low FL / decent SP".
But still my answer is valid. Just forget it. Your rider will have lost all his yellow and maybe even red bar before the sprint has started. The only thing is to sprint follow one of the better sprinters and watch. |

yeah, he's just not a very good sprinter.
A good sprinter needs both FL and SP and even decent Hills to win most stages |

No, this is about the only stat which is not required to win a sprint stage.
That stat is used for the recovery of the green bar between the stages of a race and normally only is relevant for long stage races and GT contenders. |

Maybe I misunderstood because I am not playing the English version of this game but as far as I know, there is no such thing as recovery or recuperation during the stages.
The only thing I know is the RES (resistance?) stat which defines the consumption of the yellow bar. For more info, look here, I am pretty sure this has not changed in PCM 2012: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=18843 |

I doubt that REC help to recovery yellow/red bar. But maybe im wrong. Sobrano probably know
And about topic: I understand your point: your sprinter is not "good sprinter" but he is comparable to others. I play with cont team, my best sprinter has 66FL/72SP and he won ca 7-9 finishes in 40 race days. FL attribut is responsible for the speed which the rider has at a given pulse. So, low FL = more effort to stay with peloton = yellow/red bar drops faster. You need to pay close attention to the bars. Before the train build, riders gather in close proximity. Use protection, until the train. You can take some screens and maybe we can be more helpfull.
Sorry for google-english.

Do not forget about his fitness and daily form With 72SP, 66FL, fitness 65 and daily form -1 it's almost impossible to win stage even on TdSL. I have problems with 77SP, 77ACC, 76FL because I have 59 fitness and only +1 form on last stage. I'm best sprinter in peletone in this race and I claim only 3rd on first stage. |
