Friendly race works?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone was able to play a friendly race with a friend? If just been trying to create a game but it seems to be very difficult to join a game so I was wondering if anyone already successfully played a friendly competition?

I red this topic: "https://www.cyanide-studio.com/forumPCM/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12983" already and it's clear that they are working to get the old multiplayer back. But is this "friendly mode" still a work in progress or does it actually works?

If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know.

update: I found a french guy who played yesterday a friendly race with a friend of his so it is possible... Someone who knows how?
