I am going to make a ToB Variant, and want your help
Its quite simple, please list towns you think should host either the start or end of a stage for the Tour of Britain
You can name as many or as few as you like
Also feel free to add any climbs/roads/etc that the race should go past
Ive been messing around with various routes, but cant decide

My Idea not necessarily the route as i keep changing;
Plymouth to Bristol via Cheddar Gorge
Cardiff to Aberystwyth
somewhere to Lake District (quite vague)
Newcastle to Hull
Leeds to Nottingham via Peak District
Cambridge to Norwich via coast
London-Surrey Cycle Classic as a stage

I've got an idea for a nasty stage around the Lake District! Here are the checkpoints for it: Navigation Way, Preston; Settle Market; Ingleton; Dent; Sedbergh; Shap Road, Kendal; Ambleside; Hardknott Pass, Eskdale. The route in google maps is the suggested route to take. Shouldn't be such a bad stage finishing on the joint steepest road in England. Also a stage through Scotland wouldn't be a bad idea to encompass all the nations in the United Kingdom. You could also host a prologue round Northern Ireland and I think you should definitely keep the TT round London for the final stage. Good luck making it and I can't wait to play it!

nice looking route, and that finish would definatly cause problems in a peloton
the ToB has never been to NI so a stage would be good, but the tansfer back is a bit much for an 8 day race
scotland would work if i removed either plymouth-bristol or cambridge-norwich

It starts in Belfast, with an 80km crit round the city center
Stage 2 runs down the coast from Edinburgh to Newcastle, ending in a sprint
Stage 3 is the tough day from Preston to the top of Hardknott Pass, its a hilly one
Stage 4 runs across the Peak District between Leeds and Derby, should be a reduced sprint
Stage 5 is another hilly day from Cardiff to Aberystwyth, again a reduced sprint
Stage 6 runs from Birmingham to Bristol, ending with a few laps of Bristol to thin out the field
Stage 7 runs from Bath to Southampton finishing in a sprint
The race concludes with a TT in the heart of London.
