Wasnt Cyanide supposed to give us a new patch till the end of the last week? Because i am really fed up with my game freezing on stream read, if the internet connection is not disabled. This is really annoying and there are more things broken and needing fix. Also i wait for it to start my career. Any info on the patch?

It seems like i misunderstod the date of the patch, thanks
I hope they will fix:
-freezing on stream read while being online (dont know how many people has this, i only have it with 1.2.0.0 patch, not before).
-messed up calendar in 2nd season
- some australians causing the game to crash
- bringing back some online mods
- fixing the AI which was broken by patch 1.2.0.0 especially in mountains
-and many more....

I am playing with a homemade database, and lets say that the upcoming patch fixes
1) The 2013 calender/planning problem.
2) AI (mountain)
Then, will these be "updated" in my database, or do i have to make a new one?
Thanks in advance |

Same questions, same answer. If you want to fully profit from the patch, you have to start a new career using the database which came with the patch or which is compatible with the patch.
The calendar fix might be a programming issue but could as well be an error in the database. In the first case it would be fixed in your career after installation of the patch, in the second case, the calendar would remain broken.
The AI is programming, so it will work as soon as you install the patch. But if Cyanide also tweaked the rider stats, obviously your outdated DB would not produce the expected results. |

Someone from the Cyanide staff posted this yesterday.
https://www.cyanid...mp;t=13556
He says that they are still working on the next patch and that the support team cannot give any release date estimation. I really looks like they want to get it right this time, or this means that after this update, there will be no more patches and they try to fix as much as they can. Let's hope they don't brake anything which is currently working...
