Ahmad Haidar Anuawar will hope to give his ProTour team FloGas a win to retain his title, but as he will return to Letua in 2009, Letua should have the Malaysian champion next year, with Anuar Manan being the other hot favourite.
ITT
Sea-Keong Loh is the favourite - how often do you get to say that for a race!!!
Mohammad Rizuan Zainal was the first to cross the line and one of just 3 riders in this Championships who have a 'proper' team, the next man home Ahmad Haidar Anuawar of FloGas would take the lead. But not for long, as Yong-li Ng smashed that time.
Ng led for a long time, until Loh finished with the best time to become the Malaysian National TT Champion.

RR
The road race is a flat city circuit around Kuala Lumpur, revisiting the route used in Stage 10 of the Tour de Langkawi - A stage which was won by Anuar Manan. Can he do it again?
With 26km to go a split occured, Rosdi (Letua) was joined by Loh, Zulkifli, Rahman, Ng and .. Anuar Manan! (The 7th rider visible in the picture at the bottom is a control rider.
With 7km to go, the gap was at 2 minutes, Manan was now surely favourite to win, as Yong-li Ng crashed.
Coming into the sprint Sea-Keong Loh realised that he had little chance of outsprintign Manan so tried to power ahead and get a gap, but it wasnt to be as Manan eased past and took an emphatic win. Rosdi could have got 2nd but did not sprint after unleashing Manan and took 3rd, behind Loh.

All the action in the RR, plus the Podium spots from the TT - Has Sea-Keong Loh done enough for a team to buy him next season?Edited by Roman on 17-10-2016 19:49
