Quick News Update:

Have Wiggins and Cavendish used EPO?
s19.postimage.org/bloa3whcz/wiggins_cavendish.jpg\
Several young talents of the Sky squad openly told to the press that Wiggins and Cavendish used EPO on several stage races. 15 of the 28 Sky riders already resigned and they are searching for a new team.

We have an interview with the team leader of Project 1t4i.

* Roel when you heard that the Sky squad fell apart, what was your first thought?

- The thirst thing I thought was to buy one of the young talents of Sky because we can use some extra powers in our team.

* We also heard some rumours that a rich oil sheik, buyed the Giant Asia Racing Team.

- I don't know nothing about that, this is the first time I hear this story. But it could be possible, there are many interested sheik who want to invest in Cycling.

* Do you have any benefits from this sad story.

- Yes we have since the Sky squad fell, their bike sponsor Pinarello searched for a new team, so I phoned them this morning and we are invited to talk with Pinarello about a contract.

* I thank you very much for your time, and good luck this year.

- Thank you very much indeed.

* That was Roel Eijkman who shared his thoughts with us. I wish you all a good night and see you tomorrow.

That Sky story is a good way of livening up the career. Plenty of young talents to be snapped up. Good story so far. Smile

Critical News Update:

Christopher Froome and Christopher Sutton are the instigators of all the fights in the Sky squad. They are immediately fired. All the other riders of the Sky team where signed again. All the rumours about the EPO in the Sky squad have stopped.

Also Lance Armstrong came back to the cycling world, after he was acquitted from all his charges he wants to get back on the bike. He is now a free rider to buy.

Project 1t4i did a good job, they are talking with this three riders about a contract.

Before we start today's race, we will have an interview with Christopher Sutton.

* Chris how do you feel today?
- I'm feeling well thank you.
* Do you think you have any change of winning?
- We will see how it expires and then I will come back to you.
* Okay and good luck.
- Thanks, bye.

* So Chris has his mind totally with the race of today, and didn't tell much about how he feld or the changes of winning today for him. We will see and I will report everything tonight.

Four good signings for the team Wink

BikeRoel
Australian Champs:
s11.postimage.org/6rdf2chhv/break1.jpg
Dempster goes on to the attack, Sutton immediately responds and places a counterattack.

s12.postimage.org/73irdzma5/break2.jpg
There is a break with six people, from above to down:
Sutton, Poole, Phelan, Calabria, Clark and Lovelock.

s17.postimage.org/839pla3bz/break3.jpg
There is another attack and if you can see that made a little gap.
Morton started the attack first and now the pursuers are with five:
Prete, McCarthy, Grenda, Wurf and Morton.

s13.postimage.org/w0rdk4u9z/break4.jpg
And only Grenda will connect to the first group, the other riders have fallen back into the peloton.

s18.postimage.org/lx5ew8mmx/break4.jpg
Where Morton couldn't succeed, but Cantwell can he already got one minute from the peloton.

s10.postimage.org/4caikvlk9/break4.jpg
There goes Cadel Evans can he still reach the head of the race? And win it, we shall see.

E1: In front.
E2: "41
E3: "1.20
P: "16

s15.postimage.org/mubu56qff/break4.jpg
And the last sprint has started, Evans in front, Sutton in the white jersey and Gerrans sprints very hard to the front outside of the picture.

s9.postimage.org/fte1x6xfj/break4.jpg
And Christopher Sutton wins with his last burst before Cadel Evans and Simon Clarke.

s8.postimage.org/txlv5hsid/break4.jpg
Sutton, and Evans in the last 20 meters, almost head to head.

s14.postimage.org/8ilj8z835/break4.jpg
And Christopher Sutton is so happy with his win, you can see it on the smile on his face Grin.

Tommorow we will have a meeting with the winner of today Christopher Sutton.

This was it for today and I hope I will see you tommorow.

BikeRoel
* Christopher how do you feel today after your win?
- I feel great and I still can't believe that I won.
* How did the race go?
- When Dempster attacked, I responded very quickly but Dempster feld back, but with the other attackers I could make a breakaway. Later on Grenda and Cantwell joined and then we had a group of 8. At 20 Km Evans attacked and he caught hansen fast. Then he caught our group and he was the man in charge. I used all my power to keep up with him. Then we started to sprint. Evans still in charge, but in the left corner of my eyes I saw Gerrans coming. I used all my powers and left everybody behind. And I was the first one who crossed the line.
* So after all you are very happy that you're strategy has worked, as I can make up from your story.
- Yes kind off, I wanted to get in the breakaway to reach the finish before the favorites did. And then I won in a sort of mass sprint. It was wonderful.
* Thank you Christopher for you're time, and I hope you can win tommorow in the Time Trial.
- Thank you too, but sorry I think, I can't win tomorrow the opposition is to good in Time Trial and that is why I can't beat them. But I am going for a place in the Top 20.

* That was Christopher Sutton, who still is in a daze of victory. And we will see tomorrow how the AUS TT will end. For now I wish you all a good night, and see you tomorrow.

sutty68
Sutton the Australian Champion, a very nice start indeed Smile

BikeRoel
Tnx sutty68, I am trying to get into the top 20 with the AUS TT, with someone who is not a professional Time Trialist. I will post this in the afternoon.

AUS TT:
The favorites of today:
s8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpgs8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpgs8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpg
Evans, Rogers, Porte
s8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpgs8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpg
Meyer, Durbridge, Bobridge, Anderson, Sutherland
s8.postimage.org/r8oigv6m9/star.jpg
Lancaster, Meyer, Hepburn, Matthews, O'Grady, Hansen, Day, Howard

s16.postimage.org/nvjuc1ff9/break1.jpg
O'Grady is the first who has to go.

s10.postimage.org/uhnfnm9w9/break1.jpg
Travis Meyer is the second one to come, so it seems that all riders who have the least chance to win have to go first.

s15.postimage.org/a546c62m3/break1.jpg
Now comes Cameron Meyer, who got two stars of winning from the Jury. And he starts as number 10. Very fast indeed.

s9.postimage.org/fjcx9pri7/break1.jpg
And there goes Lancaster, and I am still waiting to take place to start.

And O'Grady sets the best time on the first measuring:
27'40"

s7.postimage.org/93a5yypm3/break1.jpg
Sutherland takes off and Howard is ready to follow him.

s11.postimage.org/5uushmskz/break1.jpg
There goes Hepburn. T. Meyer sets the best time, he is 3 seconds faster as O'Grady. And While I didn't looked C. Meyer is 17 seconds faster as T. Meyer.

s18.postimage.org/546flmw0p/break1.jpg
There goes Porte, first one of the big favorites.

After 16 riders reached the finish C. Meyer is leading in:
1. 56'09" C. Meyer
2. + 37" T. Meyer
4. + 45 O'Grady

s11.postimage.org/b43lkqf5f/break1.jpg
And there goes Bobridge.

s8.postimage.org/srfrrh4qt/break1.jpg
There goes Christopher Sutton finally. Hope he can get a place in the top 20.

And Porte is 3 seconds slower than C. Meyer.

s14.postimage.org/otbec7tj5/break1.jpg
And Matthews is off, you can see Hansen waiting to go too. But he has to wait a few seconds.

s18.postimage.org/a7fbqvdll/break1.jpg
There goes Anderson and now is Day waiting.

s8.postimage.org/r4zqxq7gl/break1.jpg
And the last 3 or 4 men are taking of first there is Durbridge. And in the distance you can see Evans waiting.

Christopher Sutton sets the fourth time on the first measuring, losing 19 seconds on C. Meyer.

s8.postimage.org/v95b3yssl/break1.jpg
Here goes Evans, I think he feels comfortable, as you can see in his pants.

s12.postimage.org/90tmwnm2l/break1.jpg
And the last one to go, Micheal Rogers also former World Champion seeing on his trims.

And when Rogers came trough the first measuring, the times are as follows:
1. Rogers 26'52"
2. Evans +7"
3. Durbridge +14"
4. Hansen +17"
5. Porte +21"

When Christopher Sutton comes over the finish he is already number 26, with 1 minute 44 seconds behind on C. Meyer. Sutton didn't had the legs he was searching for today.

s10.postimage.org/a3126s3h5/break1.jpg
At the time Rogers comes over the finish he didn't know he has won in 55'31".

The top 5 is as follows:
1. Rogers 55'31"
2. Evans +16"
3. Durbridge +30"
4. C. Meyer +38"
5. Hansen +38"

s7.postimage.org/9ai39n93v/break1.jpg
Rogers looks very happy with his win of today. Sutton finished 41, with 2'23'' arrears.
