load saved game problem

I just got the game a few days ago and this has happened twice:
I play a custom team career for several races and then the game crashes. When I try to restart and load the saved game, it crashes when I click load before my choices of saved games comes up.
I then messed around and moved the career_3, career_3.cdi, and career_3.cdi~ from the user/database/solo/... directory and I can get back in and load any of my other saved games.
Is there anyway to fix the 'career_3' game? As I spent hours setting it up and playing until the us nationals.

It's a corrupted save game. Remove the ~. |

That doesnt work for me and seems i have the same problem... Is there anyway to use the saved games to get it to work again ? |

Try deleting all the files (or move them somewhere else), then check if the game works.
If it does, there's an automatic backup in My Docs/PCM/Database/WeeklySave. Take the latest one and move it to the save game folder. |

Did that now and it works but where is the saved game folder ? .. Is it the Database/solo/officailrelease and then save it as career_1 there ? |

Got it to work with the old savefile now also did have to rename and also remove the CDI file.. Thanks for the assistance.
PS the Save file is the
/procyclingmanager2012Users/yourname/database/solo and then the database you use |
