Contador is down 2 seconds to Di Luca in the Giro. We are in the very last stage and there is a sprint 2/3rds of the way through the last stage. Should Contador go for the sprint points and the time bonus or what the be bad form/etiquette?
Your thoughts? |

Hmmm put 3-4 riders dot to make a little gap from peleton then attack with 4-5 km from sprint to take the seconds

Sprint, sprint, sprint. I would have done that. Everything for winning. |

Do something like Vinokourov in the Tour some years ago...attack and let it grow, as tht music says...

Bad news! Too many breakaways to control. I couldn't bring them back to the peloton in time. Contador did not get the sprint bonus and he lost the Giro by 2 seconds. A heartbreaking loss. |
