Calendar Problem

In career mode when i look through the calendar, the game inevitably crashes, sometimes in different months, but if i go through to the end it will crash every time. I have tried with 3 different DB's and uninstalled then re-installed the game and the same problem continues  . Any ideas? Thanks

I had the same issue with the real names DB. It always crahsed when i went clicking through the calender and crashed as I clicked on April. I have had no such problems with Rubens DB

I guess you didn't remove everything which had something to do PCM.
So, let's try again.
1. Uninstall the game.
2. Go to Start -> Run and type in %appdata% .. Your Application Data folder will open.
3. Delete the Pro Cycling Manager 2007-folder inside the Application Data folder
4. Go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder
5. Go to Program Files and delete the Cyanide folder
Now, install the game and apply the latest patch (1.0.2.1). |

the Cyanide folder also has PCM 06, should i just delete everyhting else?

didnt work, should i use a new dl link? i did last time i re-installed, but this would be my 3rd. any other ideas? thanks for the help though.

i have the new pcm spain db, and i have a problem with march crashing when i flip to it in the calendar. I had this problem with the realnames db crashing in september. I have never made it to march yet, but if i just don't go to the calendar in march will it crash?

I have the same problem Stemple. I am in march right now so I have no control over the races i am doing. April is fine though.

In that case it's Colombian as well.  I've had that bug in every database I've used - same goes for PCMSpain.
Now I've experienced another bug when trying to take a look at soe riders of "Colombia es Pasión" while selecting a team for career mode. Annoying.

correction, its an Americas bug, (Yes we are two seperate continents, we should be considered that way for WC rotation, yes even though CONCOCAF sucks ass)

I might have debunked the notion that it is an Americas bug. As i uninstalled the game as crue instructed, then reinstalled the game. Then i tried to download the pcmSpain db with flashget, but it wasn't working so i just downloaded normally. Went on and flip through every month of the calendar with out crashing so i don' tknow.

I have the Danish CD version of the game, and I have the same problem. With the Realnames DB, the calendar would crash in September... with the PCM Spain DB, I crash in March... |

That was my exact problem. All i can say is try to uninstall and reinstall like crue said. I did that then searched for every single pcm file i could find and deleted them.

After doing some tests, I've figured that the problem is linked to Continental teams. I can play with any PT team and flip through the calendar without a problem. With any Continental team, the game crashes on the March calendar. I've tried cleaning out every remnant of PCM2007 and done a reinstall, but no success.
I'll try to redownload the PCM db. The first time I downloaded, it was manual. So it can't be Flashget. |

I come to post the same thing but see you beat me to it. When i went through and it didn't crash i was a pro tour team, went to play a career with a continental team and crash in march. WTF is the deal with this game.
