I cant find a disk key anywhere, in any of the places it suggests.
Any ideas?

It should be on the back of the CD case, or on a seperate piece of paper inclosed in the box. |

I have not needed a disk key before with the cd game and ill try to reinstall it later.
Also, how do you kill starforce?

I had a similar problem SN, when pcm wouldn't complete automatic scan I had the option of entering a key but there isn't one supplied with my game. I think your meant to email starforce who'll mail you one out, but its such a lengthy process...The no cd crack is much better as it bypasses the starforce protection - I'd recommend it to all genuine (In line with pcmdaily policy) purchasers of the the game having problems with starforce on their version of PCM. |

There is NO cd-key for the CD-version of the game. However, it's a known problem which many - especially Danish users - have experienced. You can bypass it in two ways:
1. Use a CD-crack (we have two available in the DL-section)
2. Use Focus' method:
If you get a message from the protection (asking a key) with the CD version of PCM2007.
1. Please check that you have installed the 1.0.2.1 CD patch first.
- To update the game, just run PCM2007 and click Play button, then click Yes button.
- If you download manually the 1.0.2.1 patch, be careful, do not download the 1.0.2.1 patch for the dowloaded version.
- If you have installed the wrong patch, just download and install the 1.0.2.1 CD patch to fix the problem.
- To download the 1.0.2.1 CD patch, please click

- Once the game updated to 1.0.2.1 version, please run PCM2007.
2. If the problem is not fixed with the 1.0.2.1 version of the game.
- When you get a protection message, please click Information then View report button.
- Save and send the report file to the technical support of PCM (closed during the week-end), or to the technical support of StarForce (24/7 support working hours).
- You will receive a key.
- Please, do not run PCM2007 as long as you did not receive your key.
- Once you get your key, just run PCM2007, click Play and enter the key |

Well I dont have the most up to date version as It messed up my game last time. Ill try updating to 1.0.2.1 again though and see if it works.

This should work:
1. Download this file: https://help.starforce.ru/syssum/readc...readcd.zip
2. Insert the PCM 2007 disk in your CD drive.
3. Open readcd.zip and unpack readcd.exe to a folder (of your choise) - it doesn't matter what it's called.
4. Open readcd.exe. and choose your driver number - push any key to exit readcd.exe.
5. Some bin-files have now appeared in the folder with readcd.exe.
6. Write an email to (24/7 support) and tell them about the problem (that Starforce asks for a CD key) and tell them that you've allready done everything in step 1 to 5. Attach the bin-files mentioned in the previous step.
7. You'll now receive a reply containing a code. Copy that code.
8. Hold down the SHIFT key and doubleclick on the PCM logo on your desktop - choose "play" (still holding down SHIFT). Now a pox should pop up asking for a CD key. Now let go of SHIFT.
9. Paste the code (that you copied in step 7) and press "next."
10. Now the game should work - but you HAVE to make sure that the disk is in your CD drive every time you run PCM 2007.
