I know there is a simular thread, but that aint objective.
So state why you think PCM 2011 or PCM 2012 is best.
Like:
PCM 2012 is better because:
- Better UI
- Better Game Engine ......
I really dont know if i should by the 2012 version or not.
I have the 2011 version with newest (i think) version of PCMDaily DB and its working fine actually.
Edit/Update:
If this thread will become bigger, i will update the OP, to get a clear overview for new users aswell

PCM 2012 is better in my opinion because:
+ Better AI (early attacks etc)
+ Better in-game view (you see more of the riders, info is smaller on screen)
+ Schedule
+ 3 divisions and their races
Smaller minor:
- Profile view is hard to predict |

Can someone offer an insight into the graphics? Is there a graphic improvement this year? |

I am not sure if smaller info is plus, as you have to take binoculars to see it with 1680x1050 and higher resolutions...

PCM12
+ Smoother, crisper graphics
+ More realistic mountain game play (not much different though)
+ Season planner is kinda helpful, especially since Lachi probably won't update his 2011 Planner for 12.
- No online
- Armada is junk
- Awful interface in manager mode and in-game
- No start lists
- Less customizable DB (races in particular)

I'm only speaking out of my own experience, I see everything perfectly. Can't speak for everyone, but that's just how I play the game. |

Please note that I am comparing a (more or less) patched PCM11 with the latest version of PCMDaily DB to PCM12 with just a day one patch without a PCMDaily DB. I generally thing that PCM11 was a good game but 3 weeks after release it was in a awful state too, just like PCM12 now. The problem is just that Cyanide is focussing only on fixing bugs in Armada now
PCM12
+ better graphics
+ looks to be better optimized, runs smoother on my computer
+ better AI (leader jerseys, attacks, but not in the mountains)
+ profile pictures of a stage look nice
+ no crashes on my machine so far (PCM11 crashed a lot)
- UI (the colors are alright for most parts, but it is way too small)
- mountain AI in Stage Mode (even riders with MO<73 manage to stick to the favorites, you generally have a group of 20-70 riders at the top of the last climb, in Career mode this does not apply however, only in Stage Mode)
- Armada (what a piece of crap)
- no online
- no startlists
.

I also noticed that it runs a lot smoother on my computer. I'm playing a stage while writing this, that was not possible in 2011. And I'm just playing on my laptop. Graphics has been optimized, and it's very nice if you do not own an expensive gamer-computer.. |

The interface when racing 3D is awfull. So stupid you can't toggle the things to stay out, but instead, have to first click it to make it come, and then only be able to +/- it. Every single rider has their own bar, for commands. Why not keep the old? I find it very frustrating. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
I think the 2011 interface(s) were better, but the gameplay itself is far better in 2012. I think they failed to optimize the manager-mode, it still feels fake, or childish, compared to other manager games.
