Seine-Marne-Seine, Vuelta a Colombia and Vattenfall were an important period in the ProTour - particularly Colombia for it's impact on the relegation battle.
After the Tour de France, the two teams directly above the relegation zone were Cafe de Colombia and Milka - Vittel. They topscored in Colombia, opening the gap to Carmeuse and Spyker.
Spoiler | Café de Colombia | 723 | | Milka - Vittel | 568 | | Pearl Adidas | 429 | | Carmeuse - Bouygues Telecom | 348 | | Bacardi - Ignis | 315 | | Sony Ericsson | 303 | | Jayco - Red Bull | 260 | | Pendleton's Twicer | 249 | | UBS - La Pierre | 236 | | Jack Wolfskin | 223 | | Team B&O | 194 | | Vesuvio-Accumalux | 185 | | Santander | 181 | | Festina - Conec | 138 | | Wiggle - San Pellegrino | 121 | | Wikipedia | 91 | | Nestlé Cycling Team | 87 | | Spyker Cars | 61 | | Webeffect | 58 |
Webeffect become the target for Spyker and Carmeuse now, but a 700 point gap will be tough to claw back at this stage.
At the top end of the table, Pearl Adidas have moved back infront of Santander, in the 3 way battle with Sony Ericsson for what is most likely to be the bottom 2 podium spots - Vesuvio's lead remaining strong, despite Uran crashing.
And its just 500 points separating 5th and 14th - a battle that will go all the way down to the wire to decide not only 5th, but the 5 Top 10 spots below it. Bacardi have moved into the hot seat in 5th, while Nestle enter the Top 10 thanks purely to Tom Boonen.
| 1 | 1 | | Vesuvio-Accumalux | 8162 | | 2 | 3 | | Pearl Adidas | 7082 | | 3 | 2 | | Santander | 7070 | | 4 | 4 | | Sony Ericsson | 6898 | | 5 | 6 | | Bacardi - Ignis | 6062 | | 6 | 5 | | Jack Wolfskin | 5940 | | 7 | 7 | | Pendleton's Twicer | 5839 | | 8 | 9 | | Festina - Conec | 5821 | | 9 | 13 | | Nestlé Cycling Team | 5746 | | 10 | 8 | | Wiggle - San Pellegrino | 5731 | | 11 | 15 | | Milka - Vittel | 5644 | | 12 | 11 | | Wikipedia | 5586 | | 13 | 12 | | Team B&O | 5576 | | 14 | 10 | | UBS - La Pierre | 5549 | | 15 | 16 | | Café de Colombia | 5029 | | 16 | 14 | | Webeffect | 4972 | | 17 | 18 | | Carmeuse - Bouygues Telecom | 4294 | | 18 | 17 | | Spyker Cars | 4174 | | 19 | 19 | | Warner Brothers | 3001 |
After at the Individual Standings, Riccardo Ricco may not have scored enough to really put pressue on Angel Madrazo at the top. He has a 384 point gap to make up, with both riding in Liechtenstein, but Ricco then riding Mendrisio and Lombardia aswell. He'll need to win at least one of them to close Madrazo down.
Damiano Cunego climbs to 3rd, while Tom Boonen is up to 10th. The Belgian duo of Boonen and Jan Bakelandts still have plenty of racing to come, so look set to climb higher in the standings.
Sergio Luis Henao scored 507 points in Colombia - compared to 551 for Cunego - and that lifts him up 12 places to 17th. Tiago Machado is also up 12 places thanks to his podium performance, and he is now 24th.
Sam Bewley and Diego Ulissi both took a second and a third place away from Seine and Vattenfall. Bewley goes up 5 to 16th, Ulissi is up 8 to 25th. In total, 638 riders have scored ranking points.

Thats not good at all. I expected to drop back quite a bit, but 4 places down is not what I expected.

I could've used 100 or so more from Colombia, it will be very tough to make the top 5 now, and probably more likely that I will be ending somewhere in the 10th region.
I don't have a lot of races left that really suits me. On paper the best chance I have of succes is in the TONE, and I doubt my riders will make it through the first stage without crashing, but Pippo COULD do well.
GP Liechtenstein could give a top 5 if Contador is really fired up, but I reckon top 10 is more likely. The Eire Tour is not for me I think. Fourmies the same. Mendrisio could go either way, the TT race is out of the question and Lombardia is probably too tough for my italians.

I hope that is now enough to survive. Not many more points we will really pick apart from maybe Lombardy.
Amazing stuff from Vesuvio-Accumalux - if Uran hadn't have fallen in Colombia conceivable that they'd have a 1500 point lead at the moment. |

I don't
So you should overtake me. A top 5 would be an excellent result, with hopefully Madrazo winning the Individual rankings.

Now I really start to regret those early crashes. The top 5 seems seriously in danger. Wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wouldn't mean a fourth goal missed this season.
