I can't understand the financial system in career mode. Sponsor gives money only for rider salaries, but what about staff salaries? I tried to play with couple of teams (simulation) and after 2-3 months budget became negative and i recieved a message with warning of bankruptcy. Do i need to earn money through races or anything else?
Sorry if bad english

Exactly. If you play on normal finances difficulty, sponsors pay you the exact amount of rider salaries. All staff has to be paid with race earnings.

In PCM11 it was "bugged", so you never got fired, but I don't think you could contract new riders when in the negatives either. Probably still the same in PCM12? Not entirely sure though |

When you say normal finances difficulty, does that mean that there are different difficulty settings for finances and for simulating/racing? So I can fx play easy on finances and hard on racing or with other combos? Is it then only finances difficulty that is chosen in the career options screen when starting the career? |

You choose finance difficulty at the start of your career: easy, normal & hard.
Racing difficulty is another thing, you can choose that in options. |

thanks for that info. It never crossed my mind that the difficulty settings for the career didn't affect the racing. It probably should have done since there are a different number of options in the two difficulty settings |

I ended a month with a negative bank account, and did not get sacked.
Bad news that I can't sign riders though.. |
