Game won't run

When I push the play button to run the game, I get a message saying the program has stopped working and needs to close. Does anybody know how to fix this?

My drivers are up to date, I have tried running it in many compatibility modes, ran as an admin, disabled desktop composition. I'm using Windows 7 x64.
