Unfortunately, I can't export the file, as I didn't participate in the event (2012 Career mode, with a Continental team), but Danilo Napolitano finished third in the Giro, fewer than three minutes behind winner Stefano Garzelli! Was using Lassassino's database, but I don't think that would have an ounce to do with it. I would seriously like to know how ANYBODY thinks a rider with a climbers' rating of 54 finishing a legit third in a Grand Tour (ie. he didn't pick up all of that time in a breakaway that got out of hand) is realistic. Cyanide?
BTW, off-topic, but I wish Cyanide would make it possible to watch races we aren't participating in. |

Very strange. 3D mode seems to have this problem (sprinters hanging on too long on mountain stages), but simulation normally gives pretty realistic time gaps.

Did you play in 3D or simulate it? If you simulated it, then this result means nothing.
It is common when simulating GTs that crap climbers gain a lot of time on some stages, even mountain stages, through breakaways.

cio, this probably should have been obvious, as my team wasn't even eligible to apply to enter the race, but this was in quick simulation mode. |

I just tested one mountain stage and most sprinters were far behind or even not in the time limit. The result was pretty realistic and I haven`t realized any problem but my riders riding strangely. I think this is due to my very first single player stage experience.  |

SportingNonsense, that's the bizarre part...Napolitano wasn't in any breakaways over the course of the Giro, at least as far as I saw. Not only that, but he came in 7th in the final stage time trial, despite the fact that perhaps the only thing he's worse at than climbing (according to the database) is time trialing! |

After playing about a quarter of a season with Movistar, I have encountered some weird results. In one 3D stage I played which was a large mountian stage, Nathan Haas and David Boily won out of the peloton, while Valverde and Samuel Sanchez were both dropped.
In simulation, some weird stuff happened too, but I can't exactly remember.  Stuff that will be fixed in patches probably.

Only had realistic results so far, across 10 mountain stages and 3 or 4 flat GT stages.
It was eleven more than necessary.
