Wiggins will win it this year because he's British. Oh yeah and because of all the time trials |

Evans because he won last year and Andy isn't here to give him competition...

Wiggins, because of the ca. 100 kms of time-trialling, and he showed that he's able to stay with the best climbers when the road goes up. Plus he won Paris-Nice, Romandie and the Dauphiné.

Wiggins will win because he will dominate the time trials. The mountains in this years Tour are not hard enough to gain enormous time on him. He will only suffer a bit on La Plance des Belle Filles or whatever the thing is called.
On the other mountains he will have no problem. Maybe he'll lose some more time in the downhill finishes, but not nearly enough to lose the Tour.
His team is the strongest as well.
The only hope aside from Evans is that Vandenbroeck/Gesink/Sanchez/name any climber does an extremely good time trial and keep the pressure on in the mountains |

Wiggins, sadly. A triumph for timid cycling if it happens. |

He would rather you used the word consistent instead of timid |

Triumph of Great teamwork Devotion Hardwork
Never though Trackie from 21th Century would be even considered Tour favourite. I'd go with Evans as I think he'll win though.

And I'd rather he rode with some panache. |

Nibbles, he will attack in the mountains and his TT is strong enough to keep the jersey.

Yep it's for sure that if Wiggins wins it will be in boring style. Plenty of Sky controlling the peloton all the time and TT-ing up every climb.
You can't blame them for it, it's the most effective Tour-strategy, as proven by US postal before them. But it isn't spectacular or exciting if you're not a Sky/Wiggins fan. Like I said I don't blame them for it, it's just not exciting sadly |

I think Sky's leader Wiggins will win easily, but I wish Cadel, Alejandro and Samu can spoil their plan.

I'm putting my money on Evans. Though I wonder if he can handle the pressure! |

Evans. He will gain more time in the mountains than he loses in the TTs.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.

i am really crossing my fingers for Gesink not crashing for once - judging from the result only he seems to have done a pretty good job in the time trial in suisse today and the many time trial kilometres will probably decide the tour...
somehow i like him - dont know why though
i really hope he can get at least a podium probably after 1. wiggins 2. evans
