Hey guys.
On another forum, I've taken part in an, in my opinion, quite enjoyable board game, so I thought I might as well try to introduce it here. The rules are pretty simple:
The basics is that a game leader (in the first round, that would be me) asks 5 questions, mostly based on "name a whatever" (for instance, "Name a Tour de France winner" - it doesn't have to be cycling-related, though). Every participant then sends a PM to the game leader with his five answers.
The game leader (by the way, is that the correct expression? it doesn't sound right but I didn't find any better words) then evaluates the answers and assignes points. For each question, you get as many points as the number of other players who gave the same answer. Let's take the question from above:
For instance, 15 players participated, and these are the answers:
10x Lance Armstrong
3x Eddy Merckx
1x Jan Ulrich
1x Bjarne Riis
So everyone who answered Lance Armstrong gets 10 points for this question, the Merckx guys get 3 points and so on.
The answer you give doesn't have to be "correct" for the respective question. You're allowed to write "Germany" for a country in Central America for example. I wouldn't make much sense, of course, but what I want to show with this example is that if you think that you're actually with stupid and most people will name the Atlantic Ocean as a river, you're of course allowed to name that
Usually, one game consists of 5 rounds, the player with most points added up wins and is the new game leader (unless he doesn't want to).
I hope, the rules are clear. If not, don't hesitate to ask. Of course, the more people participate, the more fun it is.
Alright, so here's the first round:
I'm with stupid: cunego59's Round 1
Geography
Let's start with a simple one.
1. Name a river.
2. Name a city that is not the capital of its country.
3. Name a mountain chain.
4. Name a country whose flag has not more than two colours.
5. Name a country in Central America.
You have two days to PM me your answers (please use IWS or I'm with stupid as the subject), so the gates close at June 13, 12 PM CET.

It's great that the game is so well received - I have already 13 participants! I might even shorten the application time, we'll see.
Your answers are already very interesting. In general, it's very close, but two players stand out from the rest - one very postively, one rather negatively Anyway, things can still change a lot with more participants coming.

In.
I wonder where you have got the idea from?
Hopefully I can also do well here and win the game. |

Sent. I think my answers are pretty good.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.

Now that more and more participate, gaps get bigger as well
Oh, and in the light of current events, here's an addition to the rules:
The answer you give doesn't have to be "correct" for the respective question. You're allowed to write "Germany" for a country in Central America for example. I wouldn't make much sense, of course, but what I want to show with this example is that if you think that you're actually with stupid and most people will name the Atlantic Ocean as a river, you're of course allowed to name that
