how do I find a new sponsor?

I´m in november 2013 and found out that quickstep is not my sponsor anymore, som I have only Omega pharma as sponsor now. Since I thought that Quickstep would keep on sponsoring my team since Cyanide didn´t implement the "prolonging sponsor thing" for PCM 2012 and instead the sponsor would prolong automatically, I didn´t care to search for a new sponsor, since it costs a huge amount of money (with no results).

So is there a "safe" way to find annew one?

If searching for a sponsor didn't give you any results, then you were probably looking in the wrong area or for a sponsor of the wrong status. Keep trying in different regions and you should find some.

As for assigning a sponsor by using the editor I can't help you there, sadly.

If your sponsor leaves your team, go in the sponsor menu and then in the search sponsor sub-menu.
