We head to USA for the start of the UCI America Tour in California. This race may well be decided in the 36km Time Trial, and it opens with a short Prologue - the first ITT so far this season, with Bradley Wiggins as a big favourite - if the tough climb does not affect him.

Astarloza is my GC hope, if the group is thinned out enough on the climbs. He will be supported by Moerenhout and Uran. Pate for a breakaway or two, and Usov for the sprints. Of course this entire plan will go up in flames.

I don't have very high ambitions for my home tour. I wanted a top 10 for Langkawi and Saul ended up crashing so i am not going to say anything. The time trial should be deceisive but the hills and the one "mountain" stage should slim the gc down a bit. HOPEFULLY we can get rid of the good Time Trialist before the TT and the GC can be down to riders that aren't so good at the TT. I would like to see some real mountain stages next season because here in California we do Indeed have mountains.

The amount of money Bradley is paid, he shoulda won both ITT's or at least make a doubble podium - don't you think SN?
Now there is a chance he won't win any of them |

I'm only aiming for breakaways. But anything can happen.

Excellent performance from Grabovski, so close to a second win of the season!
I just hope my squad support him instead of helping a damn sprinter up a mountain for a change!
This is one of my personal favourite CT races, so I hope to do well. |

Whoho, no one in the top 50th. But nobody of my riders in the race got a good TT-stat anyway.

Grivko is in a very good position. 5th in the prologue and he's a quite strong climber. |

I beg to differ, with that tough hill for the last km, it was always hard for Brad to win.

Stage 2, 4 and 6 are going to decide the GC, and I don't think Wiggy can stay with the favourites on stage 4 to be honest. |

I was talking about the time trial and I never even had slim hopes for Wiggo to get top 50 in the GC.
Ive played Stage 2, but I dont have time to post it now.

Good lord. Did I even send anyone to this race?! Let's just move on to the next one, shall we? |

nice win , good thing the gap was bridged for Astarloza, Uran, and Moerenhout though.

The next race, Trofeo Laugeulia, is going to be played after stage 2. That's what the calender says, anyway.
It was a shame that Moreno closed that gap to the 19 ahead, otherwise my two riders in that group would have gained a couple of seconds.
