I have searched these forums with numerous different search terms, I've carefully looked at and edited my savegame (a few different versions of it), but I can't find the solution to this problem so thought I'd start a new thread just in case anyone can shed any light on what might be wrong.
My game crashes (or rather it stops responding and just stays open with no error message) in 2nd season on the day change between 7th-8th October.
I did read one thread saying stage 3 of the Tour of Beijing (7th Oct) causes a problem, but I did that stage fine. I also checked stage 4 profile and the Giro del Emilia, the only other race on the 8th and both are clearly visible so no probs with those stage files.
This is a db I have edited the savegame of so I rooted around all the riders I had edited (only ~4 or 5), but still no luck when I examine the database around those riders, their contracts, etc.
The game log file just stays like this without any crash reported and I can't work out what is wrong related to the roster:

If anyone has any suggestions of the type of things that can cause that type of problem I would be very grateful as it takes me quite a while planning each season so to even replay to 2nd season end would be a lot of replaying
I guess the easiest way would be to skip this day, there are instructions in these forums which explain how to do it. If you cannot find it or have problems, then ask again.
Sorry, meant to reply earlier, but kept forgetting. Thanks for the advice. I had tried that previously, but it just crashed the next day then.
I tried it again though, making sure I sorted out the previous and next stage stuff and it worked and took me through into the new season without crashing on the year change which I was worried it might so thanks for the help
Now I just have to get to work on pre-season planning with usually takes me days!!
