Less than a month and we'll all be playing PCM 2012. Call me an old-fashioned guy, but I haven't used any 2012 database, I want the new teams and stats to come with the new game.
So I'm looking for a team to start a (long) career with on PCM 2012.
I'm going to create a young rider (a British GC rider, good climber, decent time-trialer and a strong sprint-finish, too), and I want to put him in a team, the problem is, I don't know what team.
Anyone got any suggestions what team to put my rider in and therefore play with?
I've already considered Lotto - Belisol, first riding for Van Den Broeck and after a few years taking his place.
Then I thought, maybe Orica - GreenEdge, him being the first GC rider, and try to attract some more.
Or then I thought about Team Europcar, and try to get them back to ProTour, with my created rider and Rolland going for GTs.
But basically, it could be any team, though the team should be at least pro-contintenal, as my created rider has already rode for Endura Racing for 1 season, as a neopro. |

If i was your rider I'd join an old team like Katusha or Ag2r where the leaders are getting older and are past the peak of their career. He can then support the leaders for the first years of his time there and go on to lead the team. |

Is it for making a story? Because a story about Lotto-Belisol would be nice.
But in any case, a team like Lotto-Belisol would be good for your rider. There are a lot of young riders who can push each other to a higher level. |

Well..another good choice would be as Team Argos Shimano. Has young riders and your ciclyst could be the leader for GT in a few years

I'm not sure yet if I'll make a story of it. It depends on how much time gets into a story, I'll be going to the university in September so I won't have too much time.
So all you story-writers out there, how much time does it take, writing a story? |

For me it took so much time i had to stop in late February unfortunately. But isnt university perfect place to do that time-wise? I mean i was trying the story when being 8,5 hours at work and than go to the shop, cook something and so and day is almost over, so it was hard, i think you should have more free time at uni, i mean you are not learning non-stop are you?

Problem is I'll be going to movie academy, and I'm really passionate about movies, so I'll be making films around the clock, also reading and studying film history. And I've to take the train there, 3hours on the train every day... |

Well, I think that'll make the difference. If I can use my laptop on the train, I could do it.
But it depends on the hours of the school, if it's during rush hour, I can forget about the laptop |

Only thing to do, indeed
It's just that I'd love to do a story, but I don't want to make any promises now that I may have to break
Though I'm pretty sure I'll make a story one day. |

If you are:
17 years old: all life to do a story
22 years old: still too early
34 years old: hang on...still time for it
45 years old: start to think what team
57 years old: you must decide faster now
69 years old: better start now
78 years old: still no team?
86 years old: ask your grandson to write it for you
95 years old: new teams and riders.... damn
101 years old: too late.......................... dead.

Haha, that about sums it up, right?
So all those who are doing a story are either under 17 or survived past a 101 years old? |
