The game has suddenly decided not to start. It worked well until yesterday. The only thing I can remember doing before it stopped working, was turning off my computer with the power-button shortly after exiting PCM, but that shouldn't have any consequences.
The game crashes before the main menu picture. I get the normal black screen with the PCM mouse pointer for a couple of seconds, but instead of going to the main menu, it crashes with a message about "There was a problem and PCM will be close", or something like that.
I've tried all the usual tricks. Reinstalling the game, the My Docs-folder trick, the video trick, run as admin, turning off antivirus...

Did you try deleting the PCM-folder in Application Data?
Press the Windows button
In the search area, type %AppData%
Find the Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder and make a backup of it
Then delete the original folder
Launch the game
