Timothy Roe, the young talent from Oz
Hi everyone, after a failed attempt at making a team story, I thought I would have a shot at making a rider story. It is going to be with young Aussie Timothy Roe. I tweaked his stats a little and set his potential at 8. Here is some background information.
Difficulty: Normal

About Timothy Roe
Hi, I was born in Adelaide , South Australia in October in the year 1989. So I am 22 years old. I have loved cycling and have been cycling since I was very young. It was my dream since I was very little to ride the Tour de France. Last year I rode for BMC racing team but I have signed a contract with GreenEDGE Cycling team. I am greatly looking forward to the upcoming season and I am looking forward to sharing with you my results and progress.
As for my cycling. I am a stage races rider. I love climbing but I am also fond of the time trials. I hope to one day be up there racing with the best of them in the Grand Tours.

Yes, Tim's back.
kitface wrote a story about him a while back, it was really great. I'm sure this will be too.

I will definitely follow as Tim is one of my favourite riders.

I doubt he will since I don't think he's been active lately.

I have decided that this story is going to be kind of like Kentaurus's story on Kyle Lewis. I will focus more on the rider's results and not have as many photo's from in-game. Will make the season's faster.

Awww I have to say I'm not too excited about that.
What I love about reading one-rider stories is getting to know and love the rider, and slowly seeing them progress to better results. For example seeing Dominik Nerz start off being happy with a 10th place in the national championships, to being content with 8th overall in La Vuelta is very rewarding for all.
Of course though everything is your decision, and if you think that's the best way to make an enjoyable story for you and us, then by all means follow your heart.

Australian Championships (Road Race) |
The Australian Championships is one of my favorite races of the season. I love riding along talking with my friends and I also love the fierce battle for the title. This year's race saw my team mate Cameron Meyer make the first move. He stayed out in the breakaway for almost the whole race! So his legs will surely ache tomorrow. Cadel Evans managed to take the win after his attack at about 10 K to go ended up working. I was very happy with my 10th place finish. My team mates also did fantastically with Wesley Sulzberger finishing 2nd and Matthew Goss finishing 3rd. Here is a snapshot of me during the race -
Unfortunately my photographer friend wasn't quick enough to get a photo of me at the finishing line.
See you soon!
Tim

I don't want to drag this on, but remember, if you want a story to succeed, do what you want to do. Not for others.
If you start listening to us, your stories will have no chance.

Well after writing that piece before I am really happy I chose to do what you said. I loved writing it I just will not have lots of pictures in the story

Australian Championships (Time Trial)
I am not as good in the time trial as I am in the hills and mountains, so I was definately not expecting anything today. I finished a measly 29th out of 38. So better than i expected really. But some good news for my team mates! Jack Bobridgefinished 3rd whilst Cameron Meyer finished 4th. So a good Australian champonships for GreenEDGE and for myself! Here are some photo's that my friend took -

Thanks for reading everyone!
See you soon,
Tim

Hey everyone, Tim here.
Unfortunately the guys at GreenEDGE have said that it would be best if I didn't go in the Santos Tour Down Under this year. That really upset me because my family was really looking forward to watching race. Oh well, I guess I will have to focus on some other races in the rest of the season.
See you soon,
Tim

Hey everyone, Tim again.
Although I wasn't a part of the Santos Tour Down Under, I still watched it at home on my T.V. It was a delight to see my team mate Sebastian Langeveld win stage 5. He also took 6th place in the GC! Good on him!
oh, and a quick update. My next race is going to be on the 30th of January and it is going to be the Grand Prix la Marseillaise. See you there!
Tim
