probably you don´t know that:
let us suggest that you have a sprinter without a qualified rider whose capacity for lead-out is shabby, so your tactic in the race will be to follow the good one.
if you have mcewen, and you want to win a TDF stage win you can do like this:
when there´s 11,9 km to go, rightclick on the rider who u think will win the stage (haussler, boonen, petacchi, bennati) and press follow. then u put your rider tot he status aggressive, and then on 99 %. you have to be quick, I would say between 11 and 12 km to go, otherwise an anpther rider will take your place.
if you think your train is good, just sit on his wheel and follow.
when it is approximately 500-1000 m to go, set your rider to sprint.
if you have a very good ´sprinter in your team and many leadouts man (with good flat skills and hopefully some sprinting skills) you can make it different, but just read the links above and you´ll get the tip you need. the more you play, the better u will be.

remind that the condition of the rider is very important when playing a carreer and allso the form of the day. allso minor things like the wheater, and if a rider like the race make a difference.
and if your sprinter isn't the best of the pack it's gonna be difficult to win. you need some luck as well.

You dont need to go 99% to follow a sprinter, it just wastes energy doing that
