one thing that annoys me a bit is that story comments often content spoilers regarding recent race results (to prevent misunderstanding, these comments itself are completely fine).
As we are directed to the end of the page when visiting such a thread, it's difficult to find the race report and read it unspoilered when we have to scroll through many comments first.
My suggestion is to include a feature similar to the "sticky" threads in the sub-forums, but rather in a thread itself, which could be called "posts worth reading" or such.
This would be a function which enables the thread opener (=the storywriter) to select his race reports and collect them in a sort of thread-in-thread.
The user could then click on a distinctive button located in the thread design and would just see the race reports in their chronological order.
I am no expert whatsoever in website design or whatever skills are needed to implement such a feature, but I think it would be a nice addition to keep the tension for all frequent story readers.
Its a nice idea, but it might be fairly complicated to actually code.
One way to get around the Story problem, is rather than clicking on them via the active threads panel at the top of the homepage, go to the Stories subforum and then select a page in the Story thread to open, then it will open at the top of the page - rather than at the bottom.
