Another stage, another successful break. But before that the sprinters got to contest the first intermediate sprint.
Degano looked like a dead cert to win it before fading horribly in the last few metres, alllowing Usov to take the lead in the points competition.
An attack before the 2nd sprint gave a 7 man break. The sprint was uncontested and the break was caught, before 10 riders went clear.
There was a comnfortable winner in the 3rd sprint, but I wont tell you who it was as that would be giving away the stage winner, as the break would make it to the finish. (Not enough teams are willing to take part in the chase).
Before that there were some KoM points and you would have expected Moerenhout to try to win them.
For the 3rd stage in a row, a Maxbo Bianchi rider led out the sprint: Morten Hegreberg. And as the only decent sprinter in the group, he cruised to a simple victory.
11th for Manan allowed him to keep the points jersey.
