Norwegian swimmer, Alexander Dale Oen, is dead

Today, Norwegian swimmer Alexander Dale Oen was found dead. He was one of the best swimmers in the world and one of the biggest favourites for the 2012 London Olympics.

Oen was at a training camp in Flagstaff, USA. His teammates found him in the showers, laying on the floor and clinging to the bathtub. The doctors tried to bring him back to life, but it was hopeless. There had been no signs of illness what so ever previous to this. Cause of death is unknown.

He was 26 years old.

Never heard of him (I'm not really into swimming).

But sad to hear another young sportsman died.

RIP Alexander.

He was the most sympathic, friendly and one of the nicest norwegian athletes I knewed about. This is so tragic and unfair! RIP Alexander Sad

Sometimes the burden of proffesional sport is too much for human body. Frown
