PLZ note there is a small minor bug which I don’t care about (it only bothers you once when u start a career) it is just a little inconvenience read about it in the important part. Read the installation part you need to delete something before you install this db patch.

IMPORTANT:
To select BMC and Trek frames you have to click on pinarello then click on trek than back on pinarello then back again until your on trek. You repeat (click on pinarello then on bmc) this until you can select bmc. Note that u only have to do this at the buy equipment menu not in your bike selection screen that’s before the race. This is a minor thing and this doesn’t affect the gameplay at all cause u all will only notice this once when u select you equipment at the beginning of your career after that that shouldn’t bother you again..
I haven’t tested all race variations. Most of them should work without problem. But from time to time I had stages which brought my game to crash anytime I came across a certain stage or wanted to view its profile. I have found out that this bug can be easily fixed. If you’d notice that f.e. in the year 2015 the stage 12 of the TDF crashes you each time then do the following. Go to pcm2007/CM_Stages/Variation. Then open the file France Grand Tour rules. Then u just look what variation you play in 2015. In 2015 that would be variation 3. Now open the file File France - Grand Tour_03.descr in the same folder. Look whats the name of the file for TDF stage 12. Once you have that you go back one folder and search that file. Open it and remove anything that is an è,é,á or any other kind of crazy letters which are not common English language like o’s or n’s with something above or beneath them (I found this a lot in spain and French races and already fixed lots of them). You can easily search the whole xml file if you search the file and use as keyword “name” cuz then he will show you all names after another which are used in this stage for citys or mountains and you just have to look for like what I would call dissimilarities. Lol. Ok this is how you fix bugged stages. I cant tell if errors occur but if so plz be so kind to post which stage you fixed cuz I can do the same then also. So you see the DB should have no errors it could be some stages very late in game seasons which may give you the creeps. Also your team might be registered sometimes on 4 races on one day. You have to cancel one of the races as early as the calendar allows you to yourself.
TIP: you can determine which race variation you play in what year. Just open the files I mentioned above and change the arrangement when a stage variation is called (Go to pcm2007/CM_Stages/Variation. Then open the file France Grand Tour rules. Open the various descry. Files for the races to see then what race variation it is fe is it the TDF 2000 or 1989?). But you have to do this before you start a career. Otherwise he will still use my default arrangement of when race variation will be applied. You can even add lots of your own variations if you want. You just need to create a rule. file and add your race to the descr. File (sneak the existing descr. Files to see what u need to do, a nerd understands this). Just make sure to do all this before you start a carreer.
About the DB: All riders who started the season 2007 are in the database (Rasmussen, vino, kashechkin, mazolleni, mayo, and so on). This also follows my true belief that cycling is doping and doping is cycling. But its fair cause all are doing it since there have been pro cycling races. Or did you really thing indurain, hinault, merckx, coppi and nearly everyone in cycling history in the last 60 years has raced clean? It started with alcohol and evolved to Epo and blood transfusions. So if you don’t like these riders I can explain how anyone can remove them from the DB. And btw. You could really need dopers later on in the season cuz the profiles of the tours of the late 80s and the 90s make you realize why doping is common. However riders who have been dumb enough to get caught retire after season 2007.
INSTALLATION:
Open Documents and Settings\Username\Appdata\Pro Cycling Manager 2007. Delete the whole folder. The game will create a new one after you have installed my db patch. You only need to make your configs again (fav. Video settings, default language, …). If you don’t delete the whole folder one texture per rider may not work for you.
Unrar and extract. Open the exe, show him the way to your pcm folder if the installer hasn’t already and then let the installer do the magic. Make a back up of your complete pcm folder if you feel like to.
PS: you are allowed to host, or release this on any site you want. Just make sure to include the complete text above in any release thread you create on different forums or websites.
I will write a small tut which will explain you all how to add anything you want in the db and how to find it (races, teams, riders, scouting areas, training camps, equipment, pictures, …). I just didn’t added more new races, scouting areas and training camps etc, cause I was too lazy to do more photoshop stuff and only wanted to prove workability.
Again, it would be much better if you hosted the three parts at three different sites. Otherwise, it's pretty much impossible to download. We will need to wait for several hours between each download.
yo crue true i even ask one of your admins yesterday where to upload it before i made this post. i know its a little inconvenient but dl from rapid then host it on this site so people can dl directly. sorry but i dont know so many direct hosters.
but hey think of it this way, it took me 145h to make this db, it will only take you 5h to dl it if you dont reconnect to the net that u can dl it in 6 minutes.
TIP: after you have dl from rapidshare, disconnect from the internet (unplug your modem and router from power). Connect again (plug in router modem to power) and dl directly again.
As said a few times before:
"This file contains invalid data"
Several people have reported that the files they download from our file section "contain invalid data". I've managed to regenerate the problem several times, and it seems to be a problem with our host. But since the support is full of pretty incompetent people, they can't fix it -- however, I've managed to avoid the problem by using a download manager. Personally, I use FlashGet. It's free and doesn't contain any spyware or anything else which many other download accelerators / managers do. FlashGet can be downloaded from its website, https://www.flashget.com/en/download.htm
some races have invalid classification data. you can race em but dont earn money. i will correct that its just a probl. of wrong tour descr. this fix will only be really a 4 mb dl only.
i made a mistake in the abu dhabi race descr. xml file which only leads to a minor price money instead of the big pot. i will include this also in an update.
and i just collected all data from all riders been caught doping and the game will now send a message on the exact same day they have been caught. unfortunatly they are still in race after that but at least its kinda pseudo realistic now.
I also think of changing the games stats system, meaning to allow any cyclist to train to 90 or 95 rather than only to 85.
