Hey it's me again, with a question on the rider wage bill. I've experienced that my management is capping the rider wages when I try to extend rider contracts, although the maximum is far from reached. Why is that?
For example, my rider wage bill is about 600,000. I offer a new contract to Cancellara with 105,000. After that I want to offer a new contract to Voigt, who wants 10,000, but I'm capped at 5,000.
That doesn't make sense imo.
Thanks in advance for your help |

Maybe you can't afford both, maybe it's capped because you have reached your budget

Ok let me try something...
edit:
Well, that was not the reason
I edited my budget to 150000000, but still, 2 contract extensions were not possible.

This could be due to different reasons:
1. You already reached the maximum riders wage budget. This is not the same as the total budget of the sponsor.
2. There is a bug in the game about the currency. If you don't use Euro all values are wrong when negotiating contracts.
3. There is a bug in the game about the calculation of the total wage bill of next season. The game then shows a wrong value when negotiating. (The value named "estimated budget of next year" or similar)
BTW: Editing the budget will only make you richer over time, but does change nothing else. If, then you would need to change the budget for the next year (DYN_team.value_i_sponsor_future / Formula: https://pcmdaily.c...wstart=33) |

1. I didn't reach the max of it as you can see here.
2. I use Euro
3. How do I fix that bug?
and where can I find that "DYN_team.value_i_sponsor_future"?

The screen does not tell the maximum rider wage budget. It is just the total budget of the sponsor. Go into negotiation with a rider and you will see the max. wage budget. (Make a screen of it if you don't know where to look)
DYN_team is the table, the column is called value_i_sponsor_future. If you use the fast editor, then the table might only be called team. |

No I don't use the fast editor.
But now I know what number you are talking about and I think I understand the relation between it all now. The problem might be the (too) big squad of 30 riders...

no, it is that you are not allowed to pay your riders with above 600k, your limit is 78k from 600k so you can only pay him that much |

Yes, the maximum is 600000 and the game tells you that the estimated budget is 521500. So you can spend the remaining amount. You could check if 521500 is correct.

If you did not prolong any contracts or sign new riders, then you can do it in the game in the riders list.
Else you would need to open your save in an editor and check all contracts in DYN_contract_cyclist.

I thought you are using an editor already because you said you changed your budget.
All editors can be found in the download section (or even in my signature). |

I used another kind of editor.
Thanks anyway!
edit: would you mind explaining in a few words what I need to do then in your editor?

I can explain, but I don't know what to explain.
Save is here: my documents\pcm2012\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\
Opening the save:
1. Start my editor
2. Click the star
3. Click languages then click german (I guess you are speaking german)
4. Click the star again
5. Click "cdb extrahieren" or "Extract cdb"
6. Select the save (see location above)
7. Now do the things you want to do
In case you did some changes, you have to save them
Saving the changes:
1. Click the star
2. Click "Export als cdb" or "Export to cdb"
3. Click "Ja" or 2Yes"
4. Enter the name for the file, better don't overwrite your save in case you did something wrong
In case you want to find the contracts of your team, you have to do this (before saving the changes).
Finding contracts:
1. Click "Team-Filter verwenden" if it is not checked (English: "use team filter"
2. Select DYN_contract_cyclist (Top-menu > "Tabellen" or "Tables"
3. Click the column header "gene_i_contract_end"
Now you see all contracts of your team. Of course you don't have to count the contracts which end in this season.

By the time I found out myself what to do. It's a really awesome editor that you forged Lachi |
