Stage two is classified as flat, but the 9 circuits are never flat, and I wouldn't be surprised if a break got away in the final 10km.

Haedo, Markov and Docker are favourites.

4 riders are clear at the first climb: Geslin, Von Kleinsorgen, Reis and Muller. Reis and Von Kleinsorgen are 11th and 12th overall.

Geslin comfortably takes the second sprint, Kowk and Von Kleinsorgen are next.

Now Reis wins a climb, Geslin is second, Von Kleinsorgen is third.

Geslin wins his third sprint, Viviani and Von Kleinsorgen are next. The gap is now 1'47" with 27km to go.

20km to go and Geslin strikes out for home.

The others give up and are soon caught. Geslin is tied on points with Muller so needs a top three in the final climb to secure the jersey.

With 10km to go Geslin is back in the fold. Cyclevox, Bpost and CalGiant have controlled the stage very well.

Koren's poor TT means he has to work today, and he doesn't allow any attacks over the final climb. Vanspeybrouck and Lowe follow him over.

Cal Giant have control with 4km to go. Tolleson and Haedo are following Koren, Docker, Abdullah and Park behind them.

Abdallah just pips Dumoulin to 2nd, Van Heerden also finishes strong to get 4th in front of Haedo.

So in the overall, Van Goolen and Wolf are on the podium, while Ignatiev is up to 6th.
