While being awfully bored at school, i've decided to organize a general knowledge quiz. The quiz will have 6 rounds, varying from sports to geography. In each round, you can earn an amount of points and the winner will obviously be the one with the most points after all 6 rounds have passed. You can join in at any point, but will not be able to take part in previous rounds though.
You will have a week time to solve the questions of each round. I will post the questions in this thread. The purpose is the answer the questions by heart, and not do any googling. After the week is finished, i will announce the scores and answers to the questions, along with the questions for the next round. The rounds will be as following:
Round 1: Geography
Round 2: Languages
Round 3: Economics
Round 4: Sports
Round 5: History
Round 6: Animals
This is of course just for fun, and i realize it would be very easy to cheat (mostly due to Wikipedia), but i'd like to ask people not to, as it takes the fun away from people that actually know the answer. So, don't cheat .
I will post the questions for the first round later today, send the answers via PM to me (Kami). Don't post them here!

Awesome I really hope people won't use Google or anything, as it would ruin the fun completely.

I was thinking that
Plus, it's not, strictly speaking, Geography, but more science/physics.
Also, for Q5, what's the definition of a country? It could be a bit of a trick question.
Wow, I think I'm taking it too seriously! |

@Question 2: I'm talking about the diameter, will add that in. I've checked at a few difference sources and the approximate answer is among those. While it's not pure geography, i would add our planetary system under this category.
@Q5: https://en.wikiped...ki/Country
Don't really know how other to describe it. So the smallest independent state.

Well, if you compare the diameters, than one of the answers is correct. But if you compare volumes, you can fill the volume of the Sun with no fewer than 76.000.000 moons, and you'd even have free space left.
Just sayin'.

Rephrased question 2 about the sun/moon a bit. We're talking about the diameter. Also, it's approximately . if anyone wants to change his answer because of this, you are able to.

What measurement are you using for the Sun being 16 times larger than the Moon?

No, I meant one of the answers is right and to be more precise its actually one of the answers, like e.g 216, 416, 616, 816 bigger in diameter The 'x' meant 2,4,6 and 8. Dunno why I didn't write that before clearer.

I had to guess question two, although knowing a bit about the relation of earth and sun might have been useful. The other answers should be correct.
Pretty easy round, but i will fail in rounds 2 and 3 for sure.

Knew most of them, but had to guess on one or two.

Already sent mine too. I'm unsure of a couple of them, but I think the rest are correct. We'll see.
