How to use domestiques?

I have some problems how to use my helpers on a mountain or a climb. What is the best way to use them?

Personally, if i have a race favourite in my side, I use my strongest DM to protect my leader, whilst having the rest relay at the front on a high tempo, meaning you can drop parts of teh Peloton, I normally keep 1-2 remaining, to pull back unwanted breaks, with a short spurt of 85-95 Inf. Relay
