Just a general query, how is it that the average is worked out for each of the riders? Frown

On a German forum, there was this explanation:

Stage Races: 55% MO + 30% REG + 15% TT
Climber: 80% MO + 10% ACC + 10% RES
TT: 65% TT + 10% RES + 25% FL
Sprinter: 50% SPR + 15% ACC + 20% STA + 15% FL
Puncheur: 65% HI + 10% MO + 15% ACC + 10% STA
Cobbler: 65% COB + 10% HI + 15% FL + 10% STA
Fighter: 65% FL + 35% FI

For every rider, the specialization with the highest average will be displayed. The guy that posted this also wrote that the averages of time trialists, climbers and fighters are displayed lower than they actually are, given the calculation above.

Interesting, it's just that whenever I try to change stats for a career that's already started, using PCM Fast Editor, the game crashes every time I try to access the squad sheet and I think it's because the Average is different than it actually is. Thanks Cungeo for that answer. Smile

In technical terms the average used by the game could be described as best weighted average.

The actual factors used by the game can be found in the database in STA_type_rider.

And the game will never crash because of the average, just because it does not matter what you put there. The game will fix it after a few days.
