I want to truly appreciate the picture that's on my desktop and it's significance, and as such have finally managed to get rid of the recycling bin icon, along with all others.
but the blue taskbar at the bottom is annoying me...
I've made it as small as possible, but it's still a thin blue line at the bottom.
any ideas on getting rid of it? it may seem like a small thing, but it's really annoying...
thanks in advance

1. right-click on the blue taskbar, and select properties.
2. the properties screen will come up, select "Auto-hide the taskbar", apply and ok
3. theeeen, change your moniter settings and move the screen down slightly or stretch it slightly so the blue line is gone, or virtually inexistent. (might have made that word up)

been there, done that, wearing a red t-shirt.
Monitor won't budge for some reason. I tried to do that and the monitor reset itself and it's menu is now in spanish....

i will keep looking, it's weird that the screen won't move though
honestly, I found the "reset-then-spanish" thing quite weird.
I don't want a monitor asking my if my "luminosidad" if fine
