Is this normal behaviour:
1. I had a sprint train Ciolek - Steegmans - Boonen.
at 3km to go Boonen was still in the wheel of steegmans but decided on his own to change to the sprint train of farrar (or that's what it seemed like, in each case he got out of the wheel without me doing anything)
2. I had a sprint train Steegmans - Boonen - Ciolek.
Boonen again, with ciolek in his wheel, and still in the wheel of Steegmans decided at 3km to get out of the wheel of steegmans.
I didn't look like the rider in front of him was already dying... so I was wondering what could explain this behaviour |

I think, you drank too many beers. No, just a joke.
What do you mean with "I didn't look like ...". 'Didn't you look', or 'didn't it look'?
You can look at the bars of the riders to see if they are dead or not?
If some or your riders have high effort level and others don't, this might happen, but still I think it is strange. |

it sounds like your "sprinter" already knows his leadout is shot, and therefore anticipates the faster leadout and swaps over..ive seen it a couple of times |

I usually have the opposite problem; I want my sprinter to jump trains as mine is useless or dead, but he doesn't jump across.
I'm not complaining. He probably just isn't good enough to grab the wheel. |

Keukeleire, Dumoulin, Duque.
Like I said, I'm not complaining. It's what makes the game fun. And they do sometimes win. |

I struggle creating a sprint train, I have Hushovd, Haussler and Appollonio, with Roulston and Lancaster and still dont win. Basically I have created the Cervelo Team which is sprint dominated, really annoys me sometimes though as I hate losing

@solano
If u want to switch trains, then you can only join the end. If want, lets say, Duque to get Cav's wheel he will if hes the first there. IF Farrar is there you have to go behind Farrar.
@Ste117
you want to leave forming the sprint train as late as possilbe to have the most power available. Ignore any other teams or riders and stick to your plan. IF riders sprint past your guy leave the sprint later. Alternativly use better falt guys, FL is important. (sorry if that obvious hust trying to help)

I tend to start my train aat about 9km but now I just tend to jump on one of the favourites wheel.
Rgarding going to the back of the sprint line when jumping onto another teams train, not neccessarily, on a few occasions I have jumped on another sprinter wheel and pushed in infront of other. I consider that abit of luck too. It does however make the game very realistic
