Okay, so I am in done racing for the 2013 season, and my sponsors are to stay for next year.
So when it hit the 25th October, and I recieve my new riders, my team is suddenly re-named Saxo Bank. In fact, it's now called Saxo Bank - Lotto, but under sponsor revenues, it says 0.
Meanwhile, the original Team Saxo Bank still exists. I am clueless, but anyway. I just open my savegame and change it? So I thought..
So I open it in Fast Editor, I see in Manager I'm changed to Saxo Bank - Lotto, so I changed it back. However, the team, Saxo Bank - Lotto is nowhere when I look under 'Team'.
After saving, I open my savegame, and my team still have Saxo Bank logo and whatnot...
The only thing I've adjusted before in the editor is some error which occured when I tried to extend my sponsor.
You tried to extend your sponsor? So obviously you made an error back then.
I guess the easiest way to fix it would be to load an old save in the weeklysave folder and fix your actual career using the team information and manager information found in the old save (Except of course the year related columns like the sponsor_future.)

Well, the problem is, I don't know what to fix. The only thing I changed, was the value_i_sponsor_future and value_i_sponsor_future2.
The "sponsor scenario" feature in my season planner is still in beta phase because of these two columns, so yes, these columns are bastards (or better, Cyanide are bastards for combining two informations into the same column).
I try to explain one more time:
Open an old save and write down the values of your team (that line in DYN_team) and the contents of DYN_manager.
Then open your actual save and fix every column, which has changed compared to your old save.
You could use my excel editor if you don't want to write down all the values. Also using excel you could find the differences using some "excel magic" (formulas and/or conditional formatting).
Okay, I tried that. It didn't work.
So I tried to change the numbers in the value_i_sponsor_future, go forward to 25th October, and now my team is named Garmin - Barracuda. It seems as those 2 numbers defines which team I become..
One thing I didn't mention, was that my team is also moving from Continental to Pro Tour, can this cause the confusion, as to which team I'm supposed to replace?
Edit: I made it work, somehow. I changed the values to 0, proceeded to 25th and it changed to Barracuda networks, but this time it just replaced my team, so I could just change the name and stuff back, and now it works!

That is what I wanted you to do. For me it was obvious that you have to edit a save which is "after the 25th of october" because you said you already hit that day. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, that's not how it was when I tried it the first time. When it went to Saxo Bank, the team didn't show up under teams, there was no team to edit.
But I think I'll have the same problem next season
Anyway, thanks for helping. Now I know what to do, if it happens again
