Stage 7, we have 3 flat stages to go, the favourites are Kennaugh, Serebriakov and Ciolek, although Kennaugh doesn't seem to be bothering so I am not sure who is betting on him.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland142.jpg

4 riders go early today: Blank, Muller, Rabou and Minard
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland143.jpg

Rabou, Blank, Muller is the order through the sprint point.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland144.jpg

Minard wins the climb, with Muller and Blank next. At this point there are 90km to ride and the break hae 10 minutes
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland145.jpg

It hits 12 minutes 15km later, Rapha know that Blank is best placed 8 minutes back and are perfectly happy for him to get most of that.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland146.jpg

Blank out kicks Rabou to the final climb, Muller a distant 3rd
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland147.jpg

Through the sprint they roll, although this break has their eyes on bigger prizes. Blanks beats Minard and Rabou.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland148.jpg

The break go through 20km to go with 6'23" this is going to be an easy victory for them, but which of the four will it be?
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland149.jpg
Rabou is a poor mans climbing domestique and can't sprint
Blank is the sort of rider who only ever rides races with TTT's as the 7th pick and can't sprint
Muller gets in reports as the early leader on the odd TT but can't sprint
Minard can sprint, is a solid lead out man and rider on the flats.

This could be the biggest gap we have every seen in a Man game sprint.

Unsurprisingly Blank tries to attack.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland150.jpg

Strangely the others don't make Minard do all the work, but the gap is 30" with 9km to go
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland151.jpg

5km to go and they can't see to close the gap. Rabou has been forced to do all the work
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland152.jpg

They start to sprint with the gap still at 30 seconds. Surely Minard will make his move
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland153.jpg

What is this? Minard can't even keep in Rabou's wheel, desite Rabou being on the front for the last 5km.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland154.jpg

Blank senses the danger and starts to sprint
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland155.jpg

And Blank holds on for a career defining victory.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland156.jpg

Rabou, Minard and Muller are next.
i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m584/mb261289/Southland/Southland157.jpg

Serebriakov beats Guillen to 5th, but as Impey doesn't bother Guillen gets the Points jersey.
