As in the last years it`s time for some guesses how the 2012 season will be.
Looking in the 2011 thread you can see some really good but also really bad guesses.

Contador will win the Tour.
Andy Schleck won`t win any GT this year totally focusing on the Tour but then being 2nd again as he won`t leave Frank`s side.
Neither Rolland nor Froome or Cobo can repeat their 2011 GT performances.
Sagan will win at least one big classic. (MSR, Ardennes, Lombardia...)
Skil will be the team with most wins. (Kittel will still be awesome)
Cancellara will challenge Tony Martin more than last year.
Evans won`t win a GT but he won`t really care this time.
The Tour Down Under will be awesome with all big sprinters participating.
And last but not least: Gerald Ciolek will celebrate a win in a World Tour Race...

Gilbert will win San Remo and De Ronde, but he won't win the 3 hilly classics.
Rujano climbs like a god in the Giro but will fail at 1 stage so he loses pink.
In le tour: Nissan-Trek will do the same thing as US Postal did 7 years long. Andy will attack without looking at Frank Contador if he's not banned won't be able to follow because he had no support from his team. Wiggins loses terrain at each climb but will win Le Tour in the TT. Evans gets 2nd and Contador 3rd. If contador is suspended Andy gets 3rd. Young jersey is once again for Rolland doesn't win a stage this year. Green is for Cav and KoM is for Andy. Valverde FAILS
In La Vuelta Anton finally gets his deserved victory.
WC TT: Martin
WC: Gilbert
Olympic RR: Gilbert
Olympic TT: Martin
Also Gesink will start not to fail in Le Tour and Kruiswijk and Mollema will do well. Sagan will be able to do some very good things.
GreenEdge will fail at mass sprints... Pozatto will dissapear for ages untill he closes a gap with Gilbert for no reason
Fabian will win P-R

I agree with sam1196, Gilbert leaves the Ardennes to Evans and wins MSR and De Ronde, Evans can't deliver and gets only one Top 3 finish. At least one of the three Ardennes classics will be won by a big surprise, another one by Valverde. Hushovd wins Paris-Roubaix and Cancellara again can't take a big win. He'll win at least one of the TdF-TTs though.
Contador will get a retroactive 2 years ban until after the Tour, which will be won by Andy Schleck, who is surprisingly strong in the time trials. Frank sacrifices his overall ambitions but will still finish within the Top 10. Wiggins surprises with a podium finish. Kittel will take at least one stage (given 1i4t gets a wild card), Cav takes green again.
Nicholas Roche finishes on the podium of the Vuelta. Cobo won't.
That's it for the moment. A lot of wishful thinking is in that guesses, but this topic isn't totally about making only realistic guesses, is it?

Contador will win the Tour, Evans 2nd and Froome 3rd. Wiggins will struggle and ride as a support act in preparation for the Vuelta. The Schlecks will fail, again. Cavendish will take Green, Rolland will take Polka Dot and Sagan will take White.
Anton will win the Vuelta from Wiggins and Dan Martin. In the Giro, Nibali takes the victory from Rujano and Gadret.
Cancellara and Gilbert share the monuments between themselves, with Cav taking Milano-San Remo and Gent-Wevelgem.
Gilbert takes the world title, with Tony Martin retaining the World TT crown. Cav wins the Olympic RR, with Froome winning the Olympic TT.
This will all end up being wrong though.

Contador to be in battle with Froome over 1st in Tour, Wiggo relegated to domestique. Andy to fail and be outside Top 10. Froome - mania to begin after the Tour Sagan to fail at the Tour, Goss to win green at the Tour.
Vuelta purely dominated by Henao / Froome duo with Anton being only one trying to challenge them.
Scarponi finally wins Giro, with Rujano bonking and coming out of the race and Nibali failing too.
Hagen wins Milano - Sanremo due to Cavendish's, along Ronde. Flecha, Hayman, Eisel, Stannard do a team attack and do 1-2-3-4 in Paris Roubaix
Gilbert wins a lot along Ardeens Classics, very simialr to last year with slightly less wins.
Anyone but Cavendish wins the Olympics ( I just want the race to be interesting, maybe it will show the watching people in UKthat Cavendish didn't come 2nd in Tour as my friends tought this year).
Sky dominates World TTT, Wiggo wins Olympics TT after Martin crashes into Cancellara
My opinions are probably biased, but

Contador gets banned.
Cancellara will win two big classics.
Sagan fails to win a big classic race but gets a stage win at the TdF.
One Schleck will win an Ardenne classic and Andy will finish on the podium again but won´t win the TdF.
Kittel will win many races as he did last year.
Cav will take the green jersey but won´t win the Olympic
games.
Gilbert will win two big classic races but not the WC.
Cobo will show great results but gets banned for doping.
Evans won´t get a Top3 at any big race.
EBH for the Olympics and a surprise podium in the Ronde.

Cav wins green and finishes second in olympics won by Greipel
Rujano wins Giro, Cobo doubles his win account in the Vuelta
Sagan won't win anything big but wins Poland or Eneco
Frandy wont win anything better than a stage here and there, but have a lot of podiums
Surprise winner in WC out of a late break. Martin falls in TT and ends up outside of podium. Surprise winner Cancellara

- Contador doesn't get banned, and consequently pwns the Tour, as well as Catalunya and maybe another week long race.
- Gilbert has another good season, but nowhere near as good as the last one, and fails to win the WC. He wins De Ronde, though.
- Nibbles wins the Giro, just hanging on to his lead in the stage to Stelvio, which Zapatero wins.
- Tommeke wins Paris Roubaix, outsprinting Spartacus.
- The Vuelta route will suck again, hence the race being really poor again. Valverde podiums the Vuelta.
- Frändy's and Rabobank's Tour focus proves to be a fail, with none of them (Frändy or Rabo's leaders) in the podium. Gesink takes revenge winning the Vuelta.
- Cavendish doesn't win the Olympic race. Cadel wins the worlds, and the Panzerwagen wins both ITTs.
- Gilbert wins the Amstel, but Purito prevails in the Mur de Huy, and Valverde in Liège.
- MSR is for... wait for it... Scarponi! Hah!

Riccó will return to a small continetal team after beeing acquttied.
As far as I'm aware, he's a Meridiana rider, set to debut in Costa Degli Estruchi |
