How bad, or how good is 8.7 pounds per hour? And how expensive is living in Slough if anyone knows?

Slough is a nice area, yet expensive. Your right on Heathrow's doorstep

£8.70 an hour sounds good to me, i think minimum wage is about £4 an hour, i believe
