Group A and B will be exciting. The others, its pretty obvious who will make it past the group stage.

4th for Portugal then I guess?
Damn hard group with Netherlands and Germany being clear favourites after their quali performances, but in a cup you`ll never know... |

I hope not. We'll need some luck and be extremely well to qualify though.

I'm sure this time France will fight hard to qualify. Sweden better watch out.

Really looking forward to group B, should be some great matches there.
And both Poland and Ukraine were lucky with the draw, will be interesting to see how they do on home soil. |

Interesting groups, except the group A which I predict will produce some of the boringest matches in the last years. Yes, so boring it deserves a new word to describe it.

But there's one good thing in group A: there's really no big favourite in this group, so maybe (!) the matches won't be that boring and pretty close ones At least, I hope so..

Could've been worse for Sweden. Still can't see us knocking out England and France though, even with the latter not being as good as they used to be.

A game (or whatever competition for that matter) can be close and boring. A good example is this year's Vuelta.

In Germany they call Group B a tough group..
Netherlands is the hardest opponent but could be beaten (if not easier then many people think of) like recently as they beaten them 3-0, when Germany plays like they played against them, they should be the number 1 contender for the Cup
Denmark could be the dark horse of this group, they played well recently even I think it's pretty much the same team that got knocked out at the group stage at the 2010 world cup by Japan and they are a team unlike..
Portugal somehow they lost their ability to play a well game.. They are offensive still strong but are inconsistent in their results..
Also I think Sweden has actually a chance of advancing..
I mean France isn't a strong team as they used to be, they aren't even contenders for the cup so bad are they at the moment..
They aren't a team they are a bunch of individuals that should grow up and really start to play for the other ones in the team and not for theirselves.
How far did they come at the last Euro and at the last World Cup? I can't see why they are a diffrent team to 2010 or 2008, they could advance but then the first knockout round is pretty much their last game at the 2012 euro

We actually do good matches. Problem is the defence. We might have 26 shots and score 7, and the opponent has 3 and 2 goals. |

I am loving the fact that Denmark got the absolute worst group they could have imagined! That's what you get for knocking us out of the qualifiers
You've been fingered by the fickle finger of faith. |

We got knocked out in the qual and never got to South Africa.

x2...
Couldn't have been much worse.
Rin: It's not really the same team as in the World Cup. Somehow, Morten Olsen finally found out that it's not a good idea to use players who are not playing regularly for their clubs, so there's quite a lot new, young players on the team.
That being said, Germany and Netherlands are clear favourites. |

@Rin
The 3-0 match is not a good example at all. Netherlands missed Robben (most of all ofcourse) Affelay, Van Persie, Van der Vaart etc...
Germany also missed some players, but Germany has a much bigger player pool of good players.
If Holland misses 3 players it will be very hard.. especially if it's the only world class players.
Keep believing the 3-0 was a normal match fo the Netherlands and you will fail at the euro 2012

Meh, we beat Portugal, we're satisfied.
Besides, it would be unfair towards the other nations to have to play against us, we stayed home out of sympathy |
