Finally, the PC version is almost similar to the console version, it's really great! I just find it quite hard, not having played FIFA for ~3-4 years, handling the new features like tactical defense. But it's a lot of fun, definetely!

I think the best new feature is the "impact engine". That brings the new level of realism to the game and makes it almost a different game, together with better AI and all the new features added.
Tactical defending is hard indeed, but more precise if you master it (in which i am failing so far).
Just one thing, does anybody knows which button to use when catching the penalty? It used to be only direction, or same button as for crosses, but now my goalkeeper seems stuck in the middle without jumping

I think the game is very good. When you start to get the hang of it you can't let the game from you. |

Quick Question: Are there enough improvements made to get the game if I have Fifa11?

Yes, there are. I would say this is the best edition of FIFA in a very long time. I still feel FIFA 03 was the best one though. FIFA12 is a very close 2nd, though. I would highly recommend it. |

The problem with FIFA12 is it's too addictive. Even if your on a losing streak and getting beat quite easily, you wont give in until you finally get that win!! |

Hm, interesting to see this 'corrected'. My brother saw some videos on youtube (Hjerpseth if anybody has already seen) showing some awesomely incredible gameplay of Fifa, he bought the game, turned out that was console and PC was a completely different thing. That's why we only play PES =P
But seeing you how well you're talking about the game, including PC version, I might be downloading the demo to see it

This year (first time since FIFA2003), PES has no chance against FIFA12, which is two levels above, even on PC. Definitely a game to buy, Mresuperstar

Please get it. I'm constantly playing it. Its so much fun. Ultimate Team has me addicted, Career Mode has me addicted and Virtual Pro is slightly better than last year as well, and you can play as the whole team if you find being one player boring.
Online is better with the new defending while the old style defending is still what I prefer offline. There are better online features too.
I'd say this is the best Fifa in a very long time, if not the best ever in the series

The only thing I don't like about is the fact that when playing a career in Player-Mode, you will have to play with the whole team if your player has to go off. I honestly can't see why it doesn't simply simulate the rest of the match.
I very nearly ruins the whole mode for me, simply because it just sucks you out of the mind set you are in when using only one player. |

Agree. The PES "Become a Legend" is better than FIFA's "Be a Pro" |

Well, I've never tried PES' player mode, but I have tried the gameplay in PES and to be honest it is not good enough to lure me away from FIFA, even though "Become a Legend" probably is pretty good. |

Having played quite intense in the past days/weeks, I was wondering if those of you who play the PC version were interested in sharing you Origin names so we could challenge each other online? My username there is jmfifa59.
Also, I'd like to hear about your Ultimate Teams: Which formation do you use, how do you build up your squad? Personally, I found 4-3-1-2 to be the perfect match for my style of play and I base my Ultimate Team completely on German players. At the moment, Kevin Kuranyi and Piotr Trochowski are my best ones with still quite some bronze players along them.

I have about 8 or 9 different teams in Ultimate Team, I have a Canadian team, MLS etc.
I think only 5 are complete though, but my formations differ to fit the positions of the players.
Edit:
I kinda got bored of UT though, because its basically about who has the quickest players.

Well, if you know how to defend, you should be alright if your defenders are at least 70 pace and not bronze vs Messi. (which happened to me today^^)
