Sponsorship question

hi, im about to start a new story and I wanted to know when you create a new fantasy team in career, and then edit the database and remove the sponsorship, will the team get sponsors applying to join the team? |

You cannot remove the main sponsor, at least you cannot get a new sponsor until the season is over.
But you could edit the database so that you can search for secondary sponsors. And you could then edit the database and replace your fantasy sponsor with the secondary sponsor you found. (If that makes sense to you. But I don't even know what you are trying to do.)

well that's exactly what i want to do, remove the self funded sponsor ship and try and attract other sponsors.
is there a option in the database that i need to tick so the team searches for sponsorship or would it do it be default when i have no current sponsor? |

The team never searches for sponsors, you have to do it by sending agents to different regions or countries.
You do not get money if you have no sponsor, so I still do not know what you want to do.
Removing the sponsor is easy, just put 0 in fkIdSponsor_principal. If you want to make the sponsor leave at the end of the season, put 0 in value_i_sponsor_future. Both would be done in DYN_team.
To allow secondary sponsor, you need to edit the column value_b_cosponsoring in DYN_sponsor.

i want to have some starting money i.e maybe $50,000 without a sponsor.
do you mean agents as in scouts?

Did you play the game yet? Did you read the manual?
I don't know how the agents are called in the english version of the game but there are not scouts. You have to send them in the sponsor interface.
You cannot survive with 50K without a sponsor.
Why don't you just try it? Start a career with a custom team and remove the sponsor as I mentioned. Then continue your career and see what happens. If this is what you want, then you can start your story using this technique. If it does not work, ask again. |
