The management game produces fantastic moments of excitement, adrenaline and, unfortunately in some cases, disappointment. The Winner's Gallery is a quick overview of all those riders who have shone brighter than the rest, to take a sought after race or stage win.
Ideal for fans wanting a quick overview, or those looking for a reminder of who won where, the Winner's Gallery will (hopefully) contain the information of every winner of every stage of every race.
Attacking at the very first oppurtunity, Julián Rodas outsmarted his breakaway companions, and everyone else, to take the stage and slip into the overall lead.
Continuing the trend of stage wins for the newcomers, Polish TT champ Niemiec saw off all competition to take the win by 10 seconds from nearest rival, Ratiy.
Another win for Aker and Alarcon – however, it may have been a somewhat bitter win, as Alarcon was unable to wrangle the race lead away from Rodas.
No one was shocked by the eventual winner, rather the manner in which he won. Taking 2nd and the 12 bonus seconds in the final stage was enough to slingshot Alarcon into the race lead, and the win, much to the dismay of Rodas.

No surprise as to the race winner, as Valverde takes the overall, points and mountain classifications, much the relief of his team, who are depending largely on the spaniard for a good season.
Bennati with another great win. No time for celebrating this time though. He just edged Manan and Sutton for the win, making his second classic win this season.
Bobridge scores a surprising win for Oz Cycling Project. With an absolutely outstanding attack, more than 90 kilometres from the finish line, he succeeds, to take one of the most spectacular win so far this season.

Ziegler surprised all sprinters with an attack inside the final 5 kilometres. He comfortably held on, outsprinting Quinziato, who was the only one that tried to follow his move.
After yesterday’s failure, the sprinters were determined to have a bunch sprint today. Thor Hushovd, the “God of Thunder,” proved strongest, after a superb leadout from his teammates
The first hilly stage of the race, Sánchez was the strongest and smartest, outsprinting Valverde for the win. His win also gave him the KoM jersey, and the same time as overall race leader, Valverde.
Sánchez takes the overall title in Mallorca, mainly thanks to his superb stage win on stage 3. The win gave him 20 valuable bonus seconds, which turned out decisive, as he took the overall by 12 seconds to Valverde.

Bellis takes a dominant win on the first stage in South Africa. It was a quite surprising win, considering the stage was ranked flat, but superb positioning, concluded with a strong kick to the line, gave him a strong win.
The first hilly stage in South Africa saw a breakaway succeed. Mori held on to a superb solo win, after attacking away in the last 15 kilometres. The stage win also gave him the yellow jersey.
Another breakaway succeeded, this time it was only two men fighting for the win. Partridge proved to be the strongest, and with almost 3 minutes down to the peloton, he confidently moved into the race lead.
Rapha Condor – Qhubeka continued their great campaign in South Africa. Bellis took the stage win in a sprint between the main contenders for the overall win.
A criterium stage ends Tour of South Africa. Santos took the win, continuing his solid early season form.

The aggressive German, Flügel, takes a big win in Switzerland, thanks to an attack right before the top of the final climb of the day. He descended fearless, and took a great win, having all the time in the world to celebrate on the finish line.
Grau joined the early breakaway, and his well-timed sprint saw him just hold on for the stage win. The chasing peloton came right behind him, but nonetheless, a well deserved win for Grau.
The Queen Stage of this year’s Volta ao Algarve, and Sanchez took the stage in a convincing way. No one was able to follow, and the win also gave him the leader’s jersey.
Boom had been solid on the hills in here in Portugal, but he proved outstanding on the time trial. His stage win also gave him and his team a nice 2nd overall, and some much wanted points.
Luis Leon Sanchez continued his great early season form, taking the overall win in Algarve. The key was definitely his win on stage 3, where he gained time the other contenders never managed to take back.
Costa took a somewhat surprising win on ”the white roads” in Italy. He, together with 2 others, attacked with more than 100 kilometres to the finish line, and they held on. Costa was clearly the strongest in the sprint, taking a brilliant win for his team

Caruso finished the job for Ferrari – ERG on today’s stage, as his team worked very hard throughout the whole day, to secure Caruso a good position. And they succeeded, as Caruso started his sprint early, and held on to the win. Thanks to bonifications, he also took the race
Marzano proved strongest on the famous Genting Highlands climb, and took the stage win. He also got a little gap down to the closest followers, meaning he just took back the ra
Wei proved the smartest when a breakaway of 11 riders were allowed to fight for the stage win. His attack was perfect, and none of the others were able to catch him.
Napolitano finally takes a stage win down in Malaysia. After missing a great opportunity on stage 6, it must have been a relief to him and his team manager.
Bellis took his second stage win in a row. Another bunch sprint, another good lead out from Rapha Condor – Qhubeka, and another win from Bellish, increasing his overall lead.
The Bellis show goes on. The pace was fast over the final hill, and Bellis, together with 7 others made it in the first group. In the sprint, Bellis was once again dominant, making it three in a row.
A true show of dominance from the British specialist, taking 4 out of 4. No one can dispute Bellis' dominance here in South Africa..

Jonathan Bellis Rapha Condor - Qhubeka
No surprises as to the overall, really; Bellis dominated from day one, to secure the overall, and a massive points haul for his British / African team.
The ever dominant Alarcon shows us why he's worth €1million, taking yet another mountain top finish ahead of a first-class field, including Van Der Broeck and Valverde.
Vansummeren was able to sneak a win away from the big name sprinters, in a display of both cunning and strength, as he took advantage of a moment of confusion in the peloton.
Whilst the big names fought amongst themselves for GC honours, it was early runner Schadlich who beat all competition to take a well deserved win in the TT.
Despite being on less favoured terrain, and in a TT, Alarcon was still able to dig deep during the time trial to secure his overall win, carried forward by his stunning performance on the mountain top finish two days earlier.
Making his move 5km to the finish, Gaudin was able to stave off the assault of several cobble-sprinters to hold on to a massive win, much to the dismay of those behind.
Perfection may be the only way to describe Sambis' ride; on the day, no one was able to match him, as he rode away from the peloton with 63km to go, and proceeded to tear apart the remaining break away, before rounding it off by out-sprinting Nordhaug.

Continuing a strong showing for the Netherlands, Lars Boom takes a hotly contested win, with Vanspeybrouck and his seemingly dominant Bpost team once again denied the elusive cobblestone victory..

Haedo continued Aker Solutions - Bergans' great start to the season, winning stage 2 in Taiwan. He had the perfect position going into the sprint, and he took good care of it.
The first hilly stage in Taiwan turned out harder than expected. And in the final uphill sprint, Kiserlovski was clearly the strongest. It was a great start for his overall ambitions.
Bazajev, the strongest sprinter in the race, took a deserved win on stage 4. His team worked hard for him, and he held off Haedo in the sprint, giving him his first win of the season.
Stage 5 was the first mountain stage, and also the first stage where a breakaway succeeded. Seeldrayers proved strongest in the uphill sprint, taking the stage win, and suddenly he was back in contention for a podium place overall.
In horrible weather, Kairelis took Emu Export's second win in a row. He picked the right breakaway, and a late attack, gave him all the time in he world to celebrate on the line.
Stage 7 was another opportunity for attacking riders to shine, as the breakaway succeeded once more. And again a rider from Emu Export won a stage, they were really on a roll now. This time the breakaway just managed to hold on to their lead and Montenegro was, somewhat surprising, the strongest finisher in the group, taking the fame.
Krasnoperov won stage 9 of Tour of Taiwan. He got himself in the right breakaway, and in the uphill sprint, he was simply the strongest. The gap down to the peloton also meant he was back in contention for overall glory.
Stage 10 was definitely the Queen stage of this tour, and Carrara was definitely the strongest in the end. A favourite group of 12 riders were set to battle it out for the stage win, but Carrara simply blew them away in the sprint, taking the stage win, and gapping everyone else with at least 14 seconds on the final kilometer.
Krasnoperov lost lots of time early in the race, but he took back most of the time when he managed to win stage 9 from a breakaway. On the final stage, he succeeded in taking the yellow jersey, on the very last day! A brave ride from the Ukrainian, proving you can fight for overall glory when you crash early on in a race.

Giro del Trentino
Giro del Trentino, a mountainous race, started with a 12 kilometers long time trial. Stannard did what he came for, he won the time trial, and secured the leader's jersey, at least for one day.
Stetina tried his luck in a breakaway on stage 2, and that was a clever move. He was clearly the strongest climber in the breakaway, holding off the best climbers from the peloton aswell. His victory also gave him the yellow jersey.
Stage 3 was the only flat stage of this tour, and Jiriakov was the strongest finisher, taking Rapha's second stage win in Trentino. No doubts this was a successive race for Rapha Condor - Qhubeka.
The last stage in Trentino was another hard mountain stage. This time there were no successive breakaway, and it was all about the favourites. Pozzovivo showed his class, taking the stage, and the overall in his home country.
Pozzovivo's brilliant display on the final stage gave him the overall victory. There were lots of great climbers in this race, and it must have been great, both for Pozzovivo and his team manager, to see that the Italian still got the climbing legs.
Thought this would be a good, useful idea. It's taken a fair bit of time to compile thus far, and I've got even further complete, but not yet converted to the forum's layout.
If anyone wants to help me compile information for this (pictures, race winner info, urls) please PM me. Once I get the post up to date, it will be easy and simple to maintain.
Also, I've reserved the other posts so I can spread the post over a few different ones, rather than clogging up one post with too much coding to be able to manage. I hope that's alright in terms of forum etiquette.

Good work, can't you guys also track wins (stage wins, race wins)? Like the PCM game does, would be nice to see how many wins the different teams got
Edit: Just counted my own wins this season, I already got the same amount as I had the entire last season
I planned on doing that once I'd gotten the initial post up to date, so I can count it all at once. Luckily, Ember's compiled all the information I need from the CT to have this up to date soon; so a win count will likely be added tomorrow
and congrats, your's is definitely one of the most winning teams so far.

Right, so I've been absent for a month, due to the university work piling on. So, naturally my activity on here was to suffer. However, I intend to get this further updated by the end of the week. I also plan on removing pictures from every race, and simply having the picture link; this should avoid any worries about too many images in one thread, as there's no doubt that it's a nightmare to load.

Thanks for pointing out Strade Bianchi, some old code got left in there by mistake. Fixed now.
Also, most of the later descriptions were by Ember, as he was my 'researcher' of sorts, and it's now a largely joint project, so massive thanks go to him.
