What folder to place new databases?

Could anybody please explain what folders I am supposed to place a downloaded usermade DB in order to use it in the game?

Thank you in advance if you put off time to help.

It depends on the patch you installed. After the latest patch all databases need to be in My Documents\PCM2011\Database\
(This information comes straight from the release notes during the installation of the patch)

As I have not had internet access since August I have an old patch. I was told by one of my frinds that I need to go to the PCM folder in /documents and then create a folder called database and place alle DB that I want to use there, but it does not seem to work.

If you are not using the latest patch, then the game might crash if you try to play databases which have been released for the latest patch.
That said, you have to put the databases into this folder: My Documents\PCM2011\Users\Your name\Database

Did you check if you can play it @ Opions and then DB Menu?
If not maybe you should check in LIbrary/Documents/PCM2011/Database, I have to place them there.

The DB that I want to use is an old one so it should not be a problem.

I will place it in both folders and hope that it will work. It did before I reinstalled my game, but after I have had some problems.
