Attracting Big Money Sponsors...

Hi, I started off with Team Sky, unfortunately I lost thier sponsorship and now I stuck with a budget of 200,000 for the year dropping from 5 million, I cant seem to get any big sponsor offers, is there any particular way of doing this as I am now in massive debt, and will end up losing all my riders making it unplayable - I am starting to lose interest seeing as I can no longer pay for scouts,etc , any suggestions of how to get a decent sponsor??Sad

Normally the game should work like this:
- The sponsor leaves the team at a predefined year
- You can search for a new sponsor in the last year of his sponsorship
- If you forget to search a sponsor, the game suggests 3 bad sponsors

If you messed it up then it is almost impossible to get back, because you cannot search a good sponsor if you have no money (because it has been programmed stupidly).

The only way I know is to edit either your bank account to even the balance and then search a new sponsor. Or to edit the bank account and also sponsor income.
You would need to edit the save which can be found in my documents\pcm2011\users\your name\database\solo\name of db\

Thanks - hopefully I can sort this out so I dont lose my saved game!!

When editing your save, never overwrite the existing file. Like this you cannot lose it. Other option would be to make a backup.

I dont seem to have any fields to change the money in, only Names, etc, am I missing something?

Could it be that you are trying to edit the save using the editor which came with the game? You need another editor, which can be found in the download section (or in my signature)
