Hi, I am brand new to this website so I am hoping someone can help me....I have a problem with the size of my squad. I know its limited to 30 riders, but I only have 24 and keep being told that I need to get rid of a rider I want to add a another rider!! This means my squad is too small and all of the riders are "burning out" mid season due to the volume of races...
Also I cannot seem to extend contract with team memebrs if it is that current season that they expire.....any help would be greatly appreciated
You are in the wrong sub-forum as this is a problem of the game not the expansion pack.
But to answer your questions.
You cannot add new riders to your team before the end of the season. (Exception, scouted youth riders can be signed as trainee and will start their career in august as far as I know). So you cannot fix your "burn out" problem by signing riders.
You should be able to sign riders after July (transfer period is open from July to end of season).
Contract prolongation should be possible at any time of the year but you really should not extend contracts if they do not expire because the new contract will take effort immediately (and most of the time this will mean more costs for you).
Sometimes the game has a problem with calculating the contracts and shows a message like you mentioned but normally this message will be replaced by a more meaningful message throughout the season. So try again next month.
Sorry about being the wrong thread!!! I am in August and still cannot sign anybody it just says I cannot add because I already have 30 riders. Its spoiling the game as people are leaving and I cannot replace them - thanks for the tip about renewing contracts.

If you are in august, then there is something wrong.
Didn't the riders ask for a renewal of the contract before july?
Have you installed the latest patch? If yes, did you do it before you started the career?
What DB are you playing? Is that DB compatible with the latest patch?
