PCM was running great for me for a couple of months. (with patch 1.4 and pcmdaily database).
This morning i (by accident) I ran football manager and PCM at the same time, and at some time pcm crashed.
Since then I cant restart it anymore and it crashes when loading the main menu,

I'm pretty sure it has to do with graphical settings of windows 7.
Does anybody know how to put the settings from EITHER windows 7 or pcm at safe mode?
I cant access the game menu anymore.
Get kicked out after the intro.........
Normally it has nothing to do with these settings.
I compiled some info from the official support forum for you:
Crash while loading a savegame
If you cannot load a savegame, that means that the file is corrupted or damaged for some unknow reason, but it is possible to restore the savegame.
1. Click Windows Start button then My Documents or Documents.
2. Open Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
3. Open Users folder then the player profile folder.
4. Open Database folder, then Solo and OfficialRelease (or the name of the DB).
There are three files per savegame, for example:
Stage Race_1.cdb / Stage Race_1.cdb~ / Stage Race_1.cdi
The file Stage Race_1.cdb~ is the game backup.
Please delete Stage Race_1.cdb file.
Rename Stage Race_1.cdb~ file by Stage Race_1.cdb by removing the '~'.
Run the game and load the savegame.
If there are many savegames, you can try to find which cdb file is erroneous by moving all out of the folder. Then copy them back one by one and try to to load it in the game.
Reset the settings of Pro Cycling Manager 2011:
(Beware, it will erase your progress if you don't make a copy of the folder named Users) A. My documents
1. Click Windows Start button and click My Documents or Documents.
2. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
3. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011. B. Roaming folder
1. Open Computer then Local Disk (C:).
2. Open Users folder.
3. Open your username folder.
4. Open AppData folder (*)
5. Open Roaming folder.
6. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
7. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
(*) Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default.
Here is how to make it visible:
Open the Folder Options by clicking the Start button and click Control Panel.
On the Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization and click Folder Options.
On the Folder Options, click on the View tab.
Under the Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders and click Ok.
Thanks for your help mate. really appreciate you taking out the time.
I know about the "renaming"files if you cant load your savegame. I've done that succesfully a couple of times before.
PCM was running smoothly for me the last couple of months, including the awesome expansion pack.
The way I look at it now is that maybe my graphics c ard has chagned settings when accidently i ran football manager via steam at the same time. PCM crashed and sonce then i cant even acces the main menu. It runs thru the openingsvideo but then crashes. I looked for a file to in some kind of safe mode but cant find anytihng. Also I deleted and reinstalled pcm a couple of times but i cant acces it anymore since that crash.
Im running windows 7 and my comp runs pcm smoothly, somehow i cant acces the gamemenu anymore.....
The graphic config is in one of the the folders mentioned in my post. Removing that folder will reset the config to default. You can also search for that file but I tend to forget the correct name of that file.
